Ping G2 driver

Summary:
80 bucks at Golfmart used with Grafalloy Pro Launch Blue 65 G r flex shaft. Had it tweaked to 44" shaft with Winn Excel RF grip (to fit my golf swing and restore swingweight).

It debunks the "bombs away" commercials for the Taylormade Burner (besides, quite frankly, the 50 gram extra long shaft on the Burner feels like a rubber band when hitting it). I hit the G10 at a demo booth (and I thought IT outdid a Nike Sumo) and the G2 hits just as well, if not better. AND one saves a lot of money because it is proof positive that one doesn't have to drop $500 on the latest driver (frankly, some golfers' money would be better spent on lessons).

Summary:
I just got this Driver.. and let met tell you.. It KRUSHES the bal1!!! I'm a Callaway kinda guy. I've hit most of Callaway's line of Drivers.. and I love them all. But, I got a really great deal on this G2, The first time at the Driving Range.. WOW.. I can hit it over the net almost every time. You know, this Club might not the best Club out there.. But, I found somthing that works for me.

Very Recomendable!!!

Thanks

Ping G2

Summary:
I have now spent a few rounds with this driver and am really starting to like it.
This is a very forgiving driver. If you come over the top with an open face you will still slice it but it offers a great deal of forgiveness on hits from the heel or toe, hit it high or low on the face and you will still get very good results as well.
Distance is comparable to any other driver and doesn’t drop off significantly on slight miss hits.
It does go high for the loft but distance doesn’t seem to suffer.
It looks very traditional a big round head in a nice neutral dark colour some wont like the large half moon alignment marking but I think it works great and makes alignment easy.
It feels very solid at impact not hollow or tiny at all.
If you’re after a forgiving driver which looks traditional and doesn’t sound like ball hitting a dustbin lid try one of the G line I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Ping G2

Summary:
I bought this driver when it first came out. Its been years and I really like it. I still can hit it 280 plus. The younger guys who hit longer than me makes me want to find a club I can keep up with them, so I look, and compare, and nothing works as good (even the newer Pings). Any suggestions?

Summary:
After going through a dozen drivers, I found the G2 with the Accra T70 S shaft hits with with great power! Im 5'8" and routinely outdriver my buddies by a solid 10 yards on a consistent basis. I would reccommend Ping to anyone wanting great feel with a great look!
