precept tour premium ls

Summary:
Overall pretty good ball, I thought it was identical to the Pro V-1 around the greens. The ball checks up like it has velcro on it. Off the tee this ball for me is at least 10 to 15 yards shorter than the Pro V or the Callaway Black ball. In the fairway this ball again for me is approx 5 to 10 yards shorter. Not a bad ball at all for the money, but spend the extra 12 dollars for the standard.

Summary:
Similar in characteristics to the Pro V1, but not as long. I typically needed one more club playing this, compared to the Pro V1.

Summary:
This is a great ball. Distance is up there, and i actually spun this ball off a green the first time ever. Voracious spin. The cover seems to hold up well also.

Percept Tour Premium LS

Summary:
I've been the Strata Ultimate 2 and the new Strata Ultimate+, but decided to try this ball. It is significantly shorter than the Stratas. This is based on side by side hitting at my home course. My average drives with the Stratas are about 260, but the Precepts seem to windup around 240-245. Ball flight is similar to the Stratas, but the hang time isn't the same. It's a puzzle to me.
In terms of short iron performance, it's much better in terms of spin and stopping.
Putting feel is comparable to the Stratas.
Although I like the ball, I'm giving up too much distance on drives. I'll be trying the Wilson True Tour Vs next.
