Summary:
i bought these beautiful irons off ebay about two years ago with s100 steel shafts after trying them i changed the shaft to a rifle 6.5 and added an extra inch on the to counter act this stiffness, these irons are lovly bar one problem they dont go anywhere in regards to distance they go to high and the most i can get out of a six iron is about 160 yards just not good enough im afraid, all in all they look good but feel crap and dont go anywhere near the distance i know i can hit.

Snake Eyes MC-01

Summary:
This is a fantastic golf club for the better golfer. Great feel, distance, and looks great at set-up. I hit this better than the cast cavity back clubs I was using, and as good as any of the other top clubs on the market. My pw goes about 135 and the 5 iron about 200, but I can add 10 % if I want to really launch it.

Customer Service:
Play it again sports has been good, and I would use them again.

Summary:
wow looks like i am the first one to post a review on these irons. well im gonna start out with a bang then. these irons are a 5 out of 5. i just purchased a set of irons thru a dealer on ebay, i haven't played for about 5 years now and have decided to start up again. i couldn't spend seven or eight hundred dollars on a new set of callaway's or titleist's and a i had hit a friends snake eyes wedges at the range and loved how they felt. i purchased my set thru ebay, and they were custom built for me by the builder on ebay. they have a great look to them, they are a cavity back iron and are real easy to line up. i have hit more quality shots in the last 3 rounds with these irons than i can remember hitting before. i've added about 10 yards and im 5 years older to boot. i cant wait to upgrade to snake eyes woods and wedges when i get the chance. golf is fun again for me and im not consistantly breaking 80. i'd recommend these to anybody, not a better set of irons out there for the money.

Snake Eyes MC-01 with True Temper Tri-Gold shafts with Sensicore

Summary:
I ordered the components for this set from Golfsmith and assembled them myself so I was able to save myself a bundle (saw them priced for over $700 in a local pro shop). I was a little worried going to a blade (had been using DCI's for the past 6 years) but my fears were put to rest the first time I took these babies out to the driving range. When you hit the sweet spot it's as smooth of a feeling as you can get with a club. Hits mildly off center are not bad either but if you really mis-hit you will pay dearly. These clubs impart a tremendous amount of spin on the ball as well contributing to a feeling that you can really attack pins. If you are not a consistent ball striker then I would not recommend these clubs but if you strike the ball fairly consistently and are looking for a set of blades I would suggest you take a serious look at these. Good Luck.

Customer Service:
I''ve always found the customer service at Golfsmith to be top-notch.
