Summary:
Just an update to my recent review. Since that review I've been to the practice green and found little difference between The AD333 and the PROV1. Putting, the jury is still out. I see others say it putts well, and I have never counted myself a good putter. Played 36 holes since also. Four good nines, including another 39. That's 6 good nines consecutively. I don't think that's ever happened in my life. Probably giving the ball too much credit, but I bought another dozen.

OK, Let me start by saying that I am one of the very fortunate few who doesn't have to worry about price for a good golf ball. Not because I have alot of money, but becuse I get all the Pro V's I want--- for free!! Guess what?? I give them away because aside from a great ball on and around the greens, I can't get satisfactory distance. (Swing speed around 90mph) That being said, the Srixon AD 333 is the only ball I have played that comes extremely close to Pro V performance on approach shots and on the green, but travels a mile off the tee!! Nice and soft too. Without a doubt, the best value on the market. Try them. For 20 bucks it's a no brainer.

Summary:
Playing 17 handicap i always blamed myself for every fault i made.Naturally i thought good equipment could help so i bought PING G5 irons and rapture driver.
I played every ball i picked up and never thought of buying balls.
Then i read some reviews on this site and many others about the srixon AD333 two-piece golfball.
So for the first time in my "golfcareer"i bought golfballs.
And i must say i was astonished,my game really improved playing this ball off-center balls played with my drivers seemed to go straighter and i loved the soft feel playing chips and putts around and on the greens.
I really would recommend this ball and let's be honest its really not that expensive compared to other good golfballs!

Summary:
Tough year for me to reach my annual holy grail-bad weather, work, etc. Each time I thought I was ready for a breakthrough, the next round was disastrous. Recently took the Prov1's out in cool weather and my evil swing. Ball was going nowhere. I'm senioring in the last couple years, and was eager to try the Bridgestone RX for it's consideration of the majority of the market in designing a ball for most of us. I liked it, pretty well, but the $40+ price should evoke love, not like.
Finally found some ball compression testing results that considers compression and softness. Wrote down a couple in the 80 compression range with the highest softness ratings and went to the sporting goods store in town. The had the AD333 by Srixon, the only one on my list present. They were $20, so I bought the dozen. Won't talk about the first 9 holes, but the last 3 nine holes were 42 with no putts sunk outside 4 feet and from younger man tee boxes, then from appropriate tee box on a little easier course, 40 and 39 for season first sub-80.
The ball feels great and gave me most of the distance back from summer. I can't spin the Prov1's back more than a foot, if I do. These ran out 4 yards on a 9 iron and 12 yards on a five iron on greens landed. Pretty jumpy off chips and putts. Not entirely fair to blame the ball for poor putting, but very hard to hit it soft enough for quick putts. May look for an insert putter next outing. Hitting shorter irons in stops the ball fast enough for me, but greenside shots and putting could be improved. Support a trend to place R&D $ be spent for the masses who pay the bills. We've been ignored too long. I'd pay the ProV1 price if it was all of the above plus ProV1 around the green.

Summary:
I read the mostly very positive reviews yesterday, so I bought a dozen. It is possible to slice them, as that's what I did on my first drive. After that, it got better, much better. These are really good balls. They feel good, good on distance, putt straight, and will still check up pretty well. Price is great so it's definitely my new ball.
