Description Introducing the Strata Tour Straight. It features a patented multi-layer design for incredible distance and feel. Also has a Teflon coating that is designed for straighter shots.
Summary: Picked up a sleeve of these to try. Did not work for me. Distance was not good and the ball did not feel right off of my irons. Took it out of play after several holes and started using a Strata Tour Ultimate. Started scoring again.
Took all three balls and put them in my shag bag. If they work for you great! I won't play these again.
Wish they still made the Tour Ultimate as this is one of my favorite balls.

Summary: Good ball, not nearly as long as the Top Flite Awesome Distance though (about 20 yards shorter actually). I've also recently tried the newer Precept Power Drive ball which is better too. Longer off the driver and irons. The Strata Tour Straight was just fair all the way around, not great for the short game either. Putting was not noteworthy, but I did like the alingment arrow.

Summary: Bought a sleeve because the box looked cool, then I saw the "line-up" arrow on the ball. I was impressed. Then I hit the thing. After the first shot, I was dumbfounded. My drive was 15yds further than the Titleist NXT Tour I hit the previous hole. What about off the irons? They are just as long, helping me to come in from 127yds with a PW instead of a 9-iron. Do they spin? I could stop the ball within 2ft on the green with an 8-iron. With a 4-iron, I hit the green and stopped the ball within 8ft. I will DEFINITELY be buying more of those balls, they are amazing.

Summary: I've been using this ball since last summer and I'm hooked! My distance and accuracy have improved dramatically. Although my ball flight tends to be a very "controllable" fade, I am able to mix in a straight ball as well. The ball doesn't feel like a "brick" off the club face and I have very nice control around the greens. I also love the "arrow" on the ball -- it helps me line up putts. I just hope that the Callaway / Top Flite merger doesn't affect this particular product.
