Rac Forged tp2

Summary:
one of the best irons i have ever hit! i love them they are so pure and feel so good. when you hit the sweet spot it just takes off and pierces through the air. my friend suggested them saying they were awesome irons and was able to pick them up from a local guy selling them and i am glad i got them. they look fantastic at address i love the very little offset and the thin topline. i have found the perfect irons for me. even though they can be difficult to hit it only improves your ball striking and everyone enjoys that. best irons wont ever get rid of these.

Summary:
after purchasing these irons i wondered if it was a big mistake specially considering the price, i wasnt striking the ball consistently enough. being used to a cavity with all the forgivingness as you will know, i couldnt seem to strike these well enough. after a few sessions at the range i became very freindly with them i was striking consistently and began to find my groove it came alive on the course to. a great feel to these and are fairly forgiving considering. the heavy feel to them is great keeping your swing on plane.

TaylorMade RAC TP2

Summary:
Maybe it's my bad luck, but my experience with TaylorMade has consistently been "show for a lot of dough" (with these irons, the R7 series of woods, and almost every other TaylorMade club I have ever hit). I was looking for a more forgiving cavity back with a forged blade profile to replace my aging Mizuno MP-14s. When I tested the TaylorMade TP2's they sold me immediately with their soft 1025 carbon feel and gorgeous looks. Unfortunately, I rushed to judgement as I had only tested these clubs indoors. When I took them out on the course, I was very disappointed by their performance - ballooning shots every time, very poor workability, and some 5-10 yards in lost distance. I also thought I liked that these clubs were extra heavy (like the MP-14s) to promote a more consistent swingplane. However, this only helped me to develop a golfer's elbow and arthritis since I was straining so much to produce a lower trajectory with a flatter swing. After a season with these clubs, where I repeatly struggled to break 90, I finally switched to the Ping s59s/G5s. Now I'm consistenly back in the 80's, the golfer's elbow is no longer an issue, and I am striking the ball better than ever.

Summary:
Best iron that I ever played. I got fitting service and acoording to their recommendation I custom ordered with Dynamic Gold SL shaft, 3/4 inch longer. Superb hitting feeling, confident address shape, tour grade controllability when you hit sweet spot but giving forgiveness when you miss sweet spot. Think it's the best club in the market having both workability and forgiveness. I change iron 3 times for last 12 months. settled down with this iron. I will never go around to look for better iron any more.
