Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Daytona 1 AGSI+ Summary: Wow, the reviews are all over the place on this one... some say it is too light, and many say it is a little heavy, at least more than the SC Newports... I agree with the latter... my Daytona 1 is on the heavy side... maybe they changed the weight over the years...
Took a bit to get used to the heavier feel, but it is a great putter at a great price ($29 Ebay in great shape). I really like the insert, and so does Golf Digest and so does Sergio and several other pros...
Putter quality is top notch, VERY nice. I happen to like it more than the Camerons, which I found to be too light and too expensive. Distance control is xlnt, for me a light putter is harder to get the distance consistently right...
Bottom line is that if you are looking for a really great Newport style putter at a steal of a price, this one is worth a look. Customer Service: NA Similar Products Used: Everything, almost.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Rossa Daytona 1 Summary: I picked this up at Dick's Sporting goods for $40.00. Don't let the price fool you, this is a very nice putter. I love insert putter's, this is comparable to Odyssey white hot #1. The thing I like most is you are not penalized very much for a mis hit. If you do not strike it solid the ball still holds it line very well. Distance control is also very good when mis hit. I like the sightline on the bottom of the blade as opposed to on top. It is easy to look at and line up. overall a very nice putter without a crazy pricetag. Similar Products Used: odyssey white hot #2 Centershaft

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Taylormade Rossa Daytona Summary: So here we go, got this putter about a year ago, kind of a rushed decision. Looks good but thats about it. I play often enough and shoot low eighties or high seventies, so i guess you could trust what i am about to say. For starters, i cant deny the putter looks well, clean red insert and cool dullish finish. To begin with, the putter is a little too light, lighter than the average conventionsl blade putters, so right away you have to get accustomed with the weight and feel. I wont say its hard to judge distances because i believe that is the golfer and not the putter.
My biggest complaint is that the contact off the clubface is very unconsistent, and i mean i always use the same ball, its not the balls fault. Sometimes the ball comes off true and very soft while other times it sounds as if the putter is made of concrete. This causes some unrest over putts which then leads to hesitant efforts.
Good price at 100 euro though.
But overall i would just let taylormade make my driver and woods, thats about it!!!!
stick with a trusted odyssey , scotty or yes putter.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: daytona 1 rossa Summary: My son bought this putter for my B-day. Putters are very personal. I have been using a Ping copper brillium since the early 90s. In-fact, the grip is about dry rotted off. The Ping is slightly heavier and seems to glide better for me. I have struggled a bit with this Rossa. I will say that it plays very straight and true. Distance is the trouble. I wish they had made it so you could adjust the amount of weight. Still hittng it on days that it does not count for much - I like it, so I hope someday I get the distance part mastered. Meanwhile the copper remains in the bag. great golfing
