Description The new Futura Phantom Mallet achieves ultimate forgiveness and ball performance. The black anodized look is the perfect contrast to the five-sightline configuration making setup and alignment simple....
Model Reviewed: Scotty Cameron Futura Phantom Mallet
Summary: This is a great overall club, not the classic scotty but has the quality. It is a gem in feel, I give the feel 6 out of 5 stars. Great response on mis hits, and good feel on long putts. The five sight lines make it easy to line up, although I have had some trouble with short putts. Again overall a great buy. (very resonable on ebay, picked mine up for $61 free shipping in great condition)

Summary: Needing a new putter I went out and got the ping ug-le putter, it was great on the short putts but distance control was very difficult as its a very heavy putter.
I took it back and noticed the Futura Phantom Mallet 2 they had as second hand, 3 putts and I was certain, its as accurate as the ping but much lighter and therefore was good on the long putts also, alot more attractive and flashy also. Being second hand but in as new condition I got a bargain.

Model Reviewed: Titleist Scotty Cameron Futura Phantom Mallet
Summary: I've had the opportunity to use several types of putters (Ping Craz-E, Ping Anser, Odyssey 2-Ball), and can honestly say that this is by far my favorite. I love every aspect of this putter. The 5 sightlines for alignment are great, and I particularly enjoy the more compact mallet (a difference from the first Futura Phantom, which was a little too flashy for my taste). My favorite part, however, is simply how solid the putter feels when the ball is hit, which is the single reason I like it better than other putters. Like the other reviewer, I have noticed slight chips in the body and face, however, it was due to my own carelessness. I would also recommend cleaning the ball of fertilizer or sand before putting, as this severely and negatively affects the ball.
I seem to have gotten my Phantom at a good price (unbeknownst at the time), which increases the value for me. However, Scotty Cameron putters, in general, are known to be more expensive than other brands (however, they are also known to be the best also).

Summary: been golfing for about 5years, never liked the feel of mallets til I checked out the Red X and Futura Phantom Mallet. Feel's great on both, but the Phantom much more forgiving, so my newport midslant's been retired. I've had the putter for almost a year now.....One complaint, I take great care of all my clubs (they're my kids) but this thing is not durable at all. I know its aluminum, but if you have the slightest sand, or dirt on your ball it will dent the finish...scotty's people call it "wither" and there's no way to fix it....they told me to just use a magic marker on it....make sure you mark and clean your ball every time......oh well its still a sweet putter.
