wils fat shaft deep red irons

Summary:
I recently purchased a set of wilson deep reds from a freind who never used these irons (4-pw including the gap wedge). I have to admit that these are the best set of iorns that I have bought in years. I have had pings, callaways, cobras and even rams. I found that I have more distance and accuracy with these irons than any of the other that I played with. Shaved 8 stokes off my game and have been on the green more than anytime with these. If you purchase these irons, you will have to go to the driving range to gage your distance. I now pick up 30 more yards with the wilson's than any other iron before. These clubs are more forgiving and accurate to the flag. I'm no longer afraid of using the long irons as in the psat because of accurancy with these irons and I now leave the fairway woods in the bag when i'm 200 yards and in. You too will like these and I highly recommend these irons to anyone who is a high handicap. One other note, I changed out the manufactured grips for golf prides.

Wilson RM 2 sand wedge

Summary:
I have only been playing golf seriously for about a year now. I had previously bought a set of fatshaft irons (which need replacing) and i got a 60 degree wedge for a christmas present. I've been playing for about 3 months with a gigantic gap between the PW and 60. The other day, i was getting a private lesson from the pro at my course. He pointed out the gap and gave me the Wilson Fatshaft RM 2 Sand wedge. This thing is forged, so every shot off of the head is sweet. SO PURE!!. I went through 2 range buckets on just this club i like it so much. I have no clue how much this baby runs for, but if you get a chance, try it out or buy it if you get a deal

Customer Service:

Model Reviewed:
Wilson Fatshaft RM GW, SW, LW

Summary:
I used to be very proud of my scrambling ability and my short game. Almost completely unhappy with these wedges. I've played Wilson harmonized for years and been very happy with their performance, gave my old wedges away this winter and picked up a set of three wedges as a replacement putting too much stock in the Wilson name. Wish I hadn't. The signature series RM sand wedge performs alright but is short, distance is about 15 yards less than the cheap harmonized wedge. The gap wedge is a pretty good performer but you pay what I feel is an unfair price for off center hits with it, 1/4 inch toward the toe of this club will put you off the map. The 60 degree lob wedge I have determined as unhittable, hits that seem perfect produce unpredictable results. These clubs are best used for flop shots, sand shots and pitching, anything more than a half swing is trouble. I also play Wilson Fat Shaft Irons and Driver and have been very pleased with their performance. What I don't understand is how the irons can be so forgiving and the wedges are just plain evil.

Customer Service:
Wilson service is fantastic, broke the shaft on my pitching wedge and they reshafted it for free no questions asked (well I did have to pay for shipping)
