Adams Golf Insight Bull500 460 Ti Drivers

Adams Golf Insight Bull500 460 Ti Drivers

DESCRIPTION

MOI stands for Moment Of Inertia. Insight stands for a whole lot of it. An extreme MOI of 5,000 provides greater stability at impact, reduces side spin and increases ball speed. This means your mis-hits will be few and far between and the ball will fly farther with less dispersion. Technology has advanced driver design. It's time for the Insight BUL Driver to advance your game.

Model Reviewed: Adams Driver 10.5 BUL 5000

In chosing a driver we all know that the best driver with the wrong shaft flex will just lead to throwing away your money.

I drove by a golf course that had a club demo and I tryed all the new high $ models - Taylor Made R9, Nike V, Callaway, etc. Most carrying 260 yds +.

As I was walking out, after having driven a full bucket, one of the pro's wanted me to try this 2009 driver - The Adams Insight BUL 5000. Guess what?, 260 Yd carry and dead straight - although this 10.5 doesn't roll much. It was a demo and a 2009 but, at $160, just couldn't say no.

Love this club.

Would I buy any driver off a web sight? no!!!! (Irons definetly) but if you want to give this one a shot I would say go ahead.

Have fun

I agree with virtually everything said here. This driver feels good (with the Aldilla shaft), sounds great and goes like stink. I paid AUD$170 for the driver and 3 wood, and I would definitely buy Adams again.

Very Good Driver.
I put some lead tapes on mine to make it even better. It is as long if not longer than the TM Burner (2007, 2009 models). Rating in genral is > 8/10.

Stock Shaft suits me.

The Adams Insight BUL 5000 seems to be a driver that doesn't get the attention of the more prominent brand names like Nike, Callaway, and TaylorMade, but this is really a good one. I picked mine up for a great price on eBay and I've liked it since I first started hitting it. The high MOI helps to keep drives in or near the fairway. I hit the BUL 5000 as long or longer than any other driver I've used and also with consistent accuracy. This is also a nice looking driver -- not quite the traditional shaped driver head, but more so than the "toaster on a stick" square drivers. With such a solid driver like the Adams Insight BUL 5000 out there at very low prices, who needs the "big name" (and big price) drivers?

What an amazing club!!! Great on performance, looks and value... This Adams driver was long, straight, and the ultra-thin face makes a very appealing sound at impact... Think callaway crossed with a cobra speed driver... I've tried almost every single new driver out on the market, but I would highly recommend this Adams driver based on its high m.o.i and dirt cheap price... It's garnered the high honors of golf digest magazine and if I were you I would snatch one of these remarkable clubs on ebay... Good job Adams Golf!!!

Great driver for a beginner like me. Had a Maxfli but couldn't get a good feel. this one is like a dream for a hack like me! Original price was 299.00 and I snatched one at 79.99!!
Here's the weird thing: It's a HIGH LAUNCH club, but the stamp on the head says HIGH LAUHCH. Yes, LAUHCH. I called Adams to see if the cared that a defect was out and they didn't seem too interested. So maybe I have a collector's item now...?

Customer Service

So-so. Phone rang for a while and they didn't seem too interested. Just said if the club played "defectivly" it was under warranty.

I´ve been playing golf for 18 months.
I bought this driver in Orlando, Florida 3 months ago.
This driver is awesome: easy to hit, straight shots and added extra yards from the tee.
It´s a best value!!!

I picked this driver up on the cheap at rockbottom golf and absolutely love it. I have played lots of different drivers and this is the best combination of distance, accuracy, and forgiveness that I have found. I have played Orlimar woods for years and love their drivers, going back to the original HipTi 420, and had been playing their HTi 440 driver, which is a great stick--very long but not as straight as the BUL. I wanted to go with a driver with the new MOI geometry, and played a Cleveland HiBore for a while, as well as a Macgregor MacTec NVG2 460 (both regular and tour versions). Those are also nice sticks, but not as accurate at the BUL. This is a much better looking club than the HiBore--a perfect blend of new geometry and MOI characteristics with a more traditional look and feel than either the more radical square or scooped designs. I have the stock Aldila 65 gram shaft in stiff flex, which works great for me with the 10.5 loft. This club hits the ball on a higher trajectory than other drivers I have used, but the launch angle seems perfect to me, and I get huge bounces in the fairway. More airtime than roll regarding distance, and I could probably play this in a 9.5 if I wanted to. At first, I found the feel a little "dead" compared to other more traditional drivers I have hit, but based on my experience with the HiBore and other high MOI drivers, I think that is a product of the new geometry, which creates more of a hammer effect and less of a spring effect at contact. On the whole, this is a super club--very long, very forgiving, and most of all very straight, which is important for me since I tend to fight a hook. I'll have this one in my bag for a long time.

Customer Service

No experience with customer service, but have played other Adams products and still own a set of Adams irons that I love--never had a quality problem.

Outstanding driver! I've been hitting the Callaway FT-3 - but had trouble keeping it in play. Picked up this driver after reading positive reviews (plus the fact that I only paid $80 for a new one) - and I am a big fan of this club. I have the 9.5 loft with the stock shaft - and my ball flight is excellent and I hit it as long as any other driver - but with better accuracy. In my opinion, this is the best value in golf - and I plan on having this driver in the bag for some time!
