Bought in a whim... because of offset 10.5 and the fact that I am over 65 ... I figure what the heck..!!!
Best driver ever used... bear in mind that I did not use drivers for the last 20 + years... Had more 5 irons which seemed to work me than you can imagine...
Still send the odd one out in left field on occasion... but that has to be me and not the club.
Can match my younger golf partners who are 15 to 20 years younger than me..
What I think it is... the 10.5 degrees,... the big head.. and a terrific graphite shaft...
Bought it off a sales rack... great deal.. got so confident.. that I bought a full set of Adams clubs graphites.. and hybrids to go along with it... all seem to suit me fine...
A shop owner recommended them... and he wasn't that far off the mark... takes a little getting used to hit those hybrids.. but the general results are good..

Model Reviewed: Adams redline RPM draw

I am 52 years old and been golfing for one year.

Bought this club off E-bay for under 100.00 after reading the reviews. Bought the draw model with regular flex 10 degree loft.
I demo'd a cobra HS-9 M speed with 10.5 degrees of loft and crushed it straight and true every time. At 399.00 it was a bit steep so the alternative was the RPM.
I do not have the same consistancy with the RPM as I did the HS-9 using range balls, however I happened to be demoing balls at the range the day I debuted the RPM.

Balls were the Pinnacle gold distance, Srixon AD-333, Nike power distance and Top flite complete soft.

Distance winner was the pinnacle.
Accuracy was the srixon
Nike Power distance and Top flite complete soft were ok But clear winner was the srixon.

Slicing has always been a problem for me and matching the srixons with the redline keeps it straight and true.

Distance was better with the HS-9, 235-260 on the fly without roll and straight using range balls, whereas 225- 245 with less consistency (excluding the srixons which were very consistant) with fresh balls for the RPM.

Until I scratch enough for the HS9 the RPM will do.

I just bought this club at Big 5bin California. They aree on sale for $89.00. Tried it today and ended up hitting every fairway for the first time. My drives were a bit longer butthis club is very forgiving. I would recommended to anyone out there who is not a scrath golfer or who wants to get a great driver for a great price.

Model Reviewed: RPM 460 DUAL

I've had my Dual 460 for 3 months now. It's worked great for the past 2 months and 3 weeks, but last week was different. I hit a ball at the driving range and the entire top of the club flew off about 30 feet. The piece that flew off was larger than my palm. Supposedly, it will be fixed for free by Adams, but I'm waiting to see what happens when they call me in 2-3 weeks... I guess I'll have to use my 3 hybrid for a few weeks...

Model Reviewed: Adams redline rpm 10* draw

I have the Adams Redline RPM composite top 460cc Titanium 10* Draw bias with a Fujikura G60 low torque ultralite graphite shaft in regular flex. I bought this club on ebay after having such good results with the Adams 3 & 5 wood Ti models. I only paid $19 because this club was a demo but there was nothing wrong with it other than a couple paint chips. I have always had a bit of a slice problem when i really go after it and when i dont i tend to fade the ball a bit but not with this driver. I had been hitting a Callaway 454 9* which is also a very nice club but this Adams just works better for me. The sound is the only thing i do not like about this club but i can certainly live with it because of the results im getting. Before attention was the LAST thing i wanted when i was on the tee box but now i dont mind so much because the results have been so much better. I cant really blame the Callaway, it was an impulse buy when i was feeling frisky but after several holes in the 100+ * heat we have been having here i would start hitting it all over the place and by the time i got to about the 14th hole i hated even having to swing it. Totally different story with the Adams. This club is extremely lite and even when i am dog tired i can swing it with ease. The shaft is long and i was concerned at first because im not the best ball striker but with the excellent balance and the giant 460cc head it is next to impossible to hit this thing anywhere but the sweet spot (which is huge). I wont bore you with distances because they wont mean anything to you anyway but i have been hitting this club much further than i did my Callaway and in the fairway allot more often too. I dont know if its the draw bias head, the composite top, the lite shaft or the combination of the lot but the results speak for themselves and at the price i paid i would make the decision again and again. I dont know that this will be the last driver i will ever buy but i do know that it has unlocked allot of potential i knew was there but rarely saw before and for that i am greatful.

I absolutely love this driver.I have always had a slice problem, but not any longer. This is very powerful also. On the first day that I used it, I drove the green on a 265yd uphill par 4 on a course near my house. I can tell you that never would have happened before. It takes a little getting used to, but once you do, look out. Plus, I got it for $179 at Golfsmith....Great deal
