This is by far the best driver I have ever used. As a smooth swinger this club gives me the extra distance I need and is very forgiving. My normal ball flight is a power fade and this club delivers that and even straight drives. You can't swing hard or you'll pull your drives.

Customer Service

I don't like the headcovers. that's my only complaint.

I am a senior slow swing speed golfer and bought this club seeking extra distance. I am getting a little more carry than with my Ping Tsi but I find I get a lot more run. I find I hit the ball very straight with this club and I am delighted with it. I would certainly recommend it for senior golfers.

Model Reviewed: Adams Redline Driver

The Adams Redline is THE BEST driver I ever have owned, bar none. Every time I go into the local Pro Golf I ask them what the longest driver is, as they have one of those expensive golf simulators and get to hit all the new drivers that come in. Last Spring they said it was the Redline that was showing the most distance in the simulator. I hit it a few times in the simulator, purchased a 9.5* Redline with the stiff factory shaft and have been a happy golfer since.I'm a 59 y/o guy who is not exactly a physical specimen at 5'8" and 165 pounds. In the city championship this summer,I calculated my drives with this club (using the Titleist Pro V1x ball) and I averaged about 275 yards. I have owned the Redline for about 6 months now and am continually amazed at how good it is. I believe it has given me back a good 20 yards that I have lost as I age. Ok, here is how I hit it. First, I play it off the lead toe, tee it high enough that 1/2 the ball is above the tee, swing back under control, make a complete shoulder turn and then rip it. If you slice you probably won't want this club, as it is 46 inches in length and may only make your slice worse. However,if you already hit a fairly straight ball,I would highly recommend this club. Now before you dismiss this as a Senior players club, let me tell you that I play regularly with a 40 y/o guy who is built like a linebacker. He put an extra stiff Penley shaft in his Redline 8.5* driver, now he BOMBS it straight and about 50 yards beyond my drives. He too has been playing it for 6 months, which has to be record for keeping any driver in his ball. This is a guy who previously would literally buy a new driver every other week.I keep telling him (jokingly)that he needs to put the old shaft back in it or buy a different driver, as he is just too long off the tee for me to hang with any more. Well there are a couple of things I don't really care for about this club;one, is that it sounds like a metal baseball bat, and the other is that the feedback is poor. You have a difficult time telling when you hit it in the center of the clubface. Given that the USGA has announced new rules that will go into effect in a year, limiting the size of driver heads to 460cc, this may be the best driver for years to come.

Great club. This is one of the longest and most consistent clubs I've ever hit. I used to be timid about using my driver, but this club is really, really easy to hit. Demo or buy one, you'll be suprised. As far as fast swing speeds bing a problem, I swing around 105 and hit it with a slight(but consistent) fade.

Model Reviewed: 8.5 Grafalloy Blue S

Some purists will turn up their noses at the sound this club makes, but they do so at their own loss. Being a tall and strong player I went with the custom Grafalloy Blue shaft and have found it to be a great match to this club. As other reviewers of varying skill levels have said, this driver might take some getting used to, but get it dialed in and it turns into an artillery piece. Could not be more satisfied with it and the 3 wood is just as effective.

Model Reviewed: Adams Redline 460cc 9.5* stiff

I hated this driver for the first 200 or so range balls I hit and the first round I played it. Now I love this drive. It simply lowers my score. Right or wrong I do not demo clubs for the reason that I rather adapt, adjust my swing and play fundamental golf rather than trying to find something (except many shafts) that fits my swing. I started reading the reviews and testimonials on the Redline amongst other drivers in August when I made the decision to upgrade my game through improved golf technology. I choose the Redline by Adams because of the favorable reviews especially by those golfers of similar game. In mid September I purchased one from eBay. I went to the range the day it arrived and much to my dismay I flat out couldn’t hit squat. I went again the next day and had the same problem. Facing a club championship match on Sunday my intent was to carry two drivers deciding in advance to hit the Redline only if and when I was ahead. I hit it on three holes that day, lost all three and subsequently the match on 17th. I was in total despair after realizing I paid a couple of hundred for a club I couldn’t use. So my thoughts turn to reselling it on eBay and take my loss. That evening I revisited the golf reviews and took special note of the necessary slow back swing speed and placement in front of my left foot. With revitalized hope I was off to the range one last time - where I found my happy spot right off the front toe while using a longer tee. After about 10 rounds now I find it to be a totally awesome club. I also would second a previous reviewer that the Redline is not as long as my previous driver, but it is more forgiving and thus more accurate and that saves me a few strokes each round. In summary the club head is so large that you must learn to not overdrive it and allow it to work for you. It needs a very slow back set and then you let the club drive you forward. I used to be able to work my drives and when I made good contact I was always as deep as the single digit guys. My problem WAS when I didn’t make a good swing it would cost at least one stroke a hole. Now after several rounds I found that I have not been in trouble - that the club is actually correcting my misses. I am content to being in play on each drive and my improving GHIN is reflecting such. I also feel that as time goes on, I will learn to put more distant and workability into my drives. Many of my buddies have taken notice. They love the sound. It actually intimidates my match opponents. Bottom line very please I spent the extra time working with it. It’s well worth the investment.

If your looking for distance and control, take a pass on this club. Stronger swing speed players will lose their mind with the Redline. Yes very long when you hit it on the screws but control is a major issue. I couldnt slow down enough to get consistent with this club.I use a Nike 350 and the Redline cant hold a candle to it. Oh yeah it does sound like a baseball bat,

I bought this driver with a stiff graphite shaft. Replaced shaft with 350 tip Grafalloy 35-S. This is the straightest driver I have ever hit. I use 45" length and hit it long and in the short grass. I am a golf club junkie and I know what shaft I hit best. I have hit them all with the Grafalloy 35-S. This club head is the BEST.

Model Reviewed: Adams Redline 460cc titanium driver

I read the reviews on this club on several web sites so decided to try one which belonged to a friend. I had been using a Callaway ERC 2 driver which had added 20 yards to my drives, but which was not as forgiving as I had hoped. I tried the TaylorMade R540 and King Cobra SS which were excellent, but as soon as I hit the Redline I knew I was onto a winner. What a fantastic driver. The club felt very light and beautifully balanced, and also looks and feels great at set-up. I bought the stiff shaft version which is unusual for me, but it feels and plays superbly. It feels so good, no matter how you swing, smoothly or hard. When you hit it away from the sweet spot you still get amazing distance and accuracy compared with the other 2 drivers, but when you do catch it, on what is a huge sweet spot(460cc-WOW), there is no comparison at all. It is definately the most forgiving club I have tried by a mile. I have been using this club for 6 weeks now and have waited until now to send this review because I thought that it was too good to be true, but I feel that now is the time to admit that this is the best driver I have ever used. I was not attracted to this driver at first because Adams do not have the reputation as that of the Callaway's etc, but believe me this leaves the others in the shade. I bought it on Ebay for £220 not the cheapest deal possible, I know, but believe me, I could not be more delighted. I bought the 3 and 5 woods 2 weeks ago and they are just as good. Superb fairway woods to go with this beautiful monster. Go get one now, you won't be sorry.
