Bang Bangster OL Drivers

Bang Bangster OL Drivers

DESCRIPTION

The Bang Bangster OL as far as we know, the very first 100% Beta-Ti driver head in the golf industry, incredible! Consistency is the key here. It's a fact that a club head can reach metal fatigue at about 8,000 hits, but this head was tested and reached over 20,000 hits without any fatigue! Also features the FAS that is used on the already hugely popular Bang-O-Matic. Finished off with a beautiful TiCN hard case finish, this head can go thought a brick wall and still look good.

I refer to the comments by Cutler below. I personally checked this item and was left in no doubt at all that the damage was caused by user abuse! not just a mere miss-hit by a junior player. When a crown has been dented, abuse is to blame, you do not hit a ball with the top of the club. People will sit up and take notice of the truth, but this comment was made by someone who obviously does not have the word "truth" in his vocabulary.

I purchased the Bangster solely for long drive competition. I had 2putts golf assemble it with a grafalloy LD 50 inch shaft in 3x. The head is amazingly forgiving and extremely long. My only regret was the choice of the grafalloy shaft which I have snapped twice on clean hits. The longest drive so far has been 416 yards(150mph+ swing speed).

Customer Service

Have not needed to contact bang, grafalloy however was not very good. Boo! Grafalloy. I'll have to get an Accuflex! Look for me in the Remax WLDC(Grafalloy sucks T-Shirt! LOL)

This club is great. I sold my Taylormade r-7 to get this club. I purchased the 9*, however, I am thinking of making myself a 7.5* to see if I like the flight better. I like the head size 430cc with a deep face, but not too deep. I play on a very tight golf course and I have had a terrible time finding a driver that is forgiving and consistent. I hit this driver farther than any I have ever used or tried (except for my SMT 455 deep bore, but this is designed for long drive contests, not everday play). I am a long drive participant and have a swing speed of 120 - 130 mph. I consistantly hit this club over 300 yds. Usual drive with an 80% swing (120 mph)is 330 to 350 yds. I was fitted on a launch monitor and the results with this head were extremely impressive. I have hit it on the extreme toe and the ball goes just a little bit right, but straight and still over 300 yds. Hit it in the sweet spot and watch out. I have it this club over 375 yds. If you tee it low you can lower the ball flight, tee it high and watch it fly. I can work the ball if I need to, usual ball flight is straight or a nice little draw which gives me lots of extra roll. I have an Accuflex VS339 x-stiff shaft in it. Great combo. Purchased the head for $125 and the shaft for $69. You can put it together yourself or have someone do it for you. This club is very forgiving, extremely long and has great feel.

This club feels great. It has a nice crisp feel similar to the Cleveland Launcher. So if you are in the market for an alternative, you might want to consider this club. The volume is 440 cc with a fairly deep face and is good for those players who want to be able to have more flexibility in the control of their trajectory. Tee it lower for a low shot, tee it higher for a high flier. I normally use a 12 degree driver, but his seems to give me a good trajectory with the Aldila shaft combination. The shaft I have is a Aldila One 75-gram stiff 2.8 torque and I tend to fade a little with this club or hit it dead straight. If I overswing, I can impart a slice, but nonetheless usually a slight fad or straight with about 15 yards roll. I have a swing speed in the mid 90s and total about 235-245 with an easy swing and up to 260-270 with a hard swing. It is a little tough to work a draw, but considering that it is pretty straight, I am satisfied. I bought it off ebay for $100 and this all titanium head really feels solid. The sweet spot has a much nicer feel than the Adams Redline or Cobra SS 427, which I have used recently. It is more crisp and I llike the feeld to a Cleveland Launcer, Ping TSI, Callaway GBB/Hawkeye. Really crisp, solid with that higher pitch crunch. Not like an aluminum bat like the Adams or a Canon like the Cobra or like the low gutteral plunk like the Mellow Yellow. Since I am in the test phase again after my Bang mellow yellow cracked, I think I have finally found a suitable replacement. I give it my two thumbs up
