I recently inherited one of these from a work colleague after I put a dent in its head with a careless practice swing. I bought him another off eBay so thought I'd use the damaged one as a back up just in case my Ping G5 wasn't firing. Since then the Ping G5 hasn't left the cupboard, the Diablo rules supreme! Extremely forgiving and absolutely flies. I've been shooting mid 90s for years but shot an 87 yesterday on a demanding course purely because my driver was firing straight and true. The lads I were playing with starting using it off the tee too, they loved it. I'd 110% stand by this club as a recommendation, played enough rounds with it now to know it is the best driver I've used to date. Looks ugly and strange head shape but the results u get are so sexy it doesn't matter. Buy one.

Model Reviewed: Callaway Diablo Edge driver.

Just got one....amazing. I replaced a Nike Sumo 5000 which was ultra straight and forgiving. I can't believe this Edge is even better. Catch the center of the face and 'boom' gone. Straighter and farther than the Nike. Lightweight feel too, you can swing this one fast!

Model Reviewed: Diablo N 9*

I hit this driver that a friend owned... really liked the unusual head shape, mine is a neutral, 9* with S flex DVS. This driver is easy to hit and it is very long. The sound is fine, unlike other Callaway drivers... I have not liked Cally drivers at all until this one. The FT-3 and FT-5 were losers, IMO, and the X460 was marginal.

This driver is easy to work too. Boring trajectory with lots of roll-out.

Paid only $74 on Ebay, a heck of a deal for a quality stick... have not tried the newer Diablo edge offerings, but from their reviews, they are a bit hard to control... this one is not.

Was playing an older TM r7 425TP with Rombax 75... good stick too.

Cheers!

Model Reviewed: Cally Diablo 10* Driver

Test driver last week when a Cally van came to my local driving range. I took both Diablo and FT-iz and tested them against my old Cally 2004 BB -360cc head- titanium and Great Big Birtha II -380cc head-(GBB). After 200 balls, it's clear that new clubs CAN'T beat my old Cally drivers. The FT-iz came close to my old GBB II. Ball dispersion of Diablo is not as good for my swing.
If you want to buy new driver then consider the FT-iz, but if you want to save money the old GBB II is better for much less money. You should be able to find a good GBB II on eBay for $25+shipping. I did

Model Reviewed: Callaway Big Bertha Diablo 10 Degree Draw

I've always been rather indifferent to Callaway products, having been a Ping player since day one. When it came time to buy a new driver I was looking at the Ping G15 but at my brother's suggestion tried out a Diablo. Sold! This driver is a game changer in every sense of the word. My drives are going 20-30 yards longer off the tee and are much straighter. It is also incredibly forgiving on mis-hits.

My only complaint about the Diablo is that it has one of the weirdest head shapes I've ever seen. It reminds me of the alien from the movie "Alien" and it's a little hard to get used to at address but for as good as this club gets the ball downrange I can learn to love it.

Model Reviewed: Big bertha diablo draw driver

I purchased a new set of Big Bertha irons in October and have to say that I love them. Not one complaint. Got the Diablo #3 hybrid at Christmas and yet again, very satisfied to say the least. Just recieved my most recent Callaway product, Big Bertha Diablo Draw Driver, and just got back from driving hitting 200 balls at the range and I must say with complete honesty that I am finally hitting a DRIVER like a seasoned player. I can draw, fade and hit the ball straight by just minor changes off neutral one way or the other. I can't say thank you enough for this product. Nor can I not stop telling my friends about this, just like all the Callaway products I purchased. You have a loyal customer for life.

Model Reviewed: draw 10 degree

This is the first quality driver that I have ever purchased.
Teed off with a 3 wood last year as I was fighting a sever slice. I thought shorter and in play was better than longer and unplayable. I would like to say that a flawed swing can make any club slice (as I can attest), even clubs with a "draw" bias.
This driver, when you connect on the sweet spot, the ball really goes a long way, and straight (draw bias). Off centre hits still go a long way. You don't have to be perfect every time. Very forgiving.
May not be as explosively long as the TM Burner, but is perhaps more consistent.
Definitely worth the money as they have been reduce at most of the major golf stores.
My advice, take a lesson from a golf pro. They can see right away swing flaws, and suggest sure fire cures, instead of wingin' it on your own.
This club will not "cure" a severe swing flaw, only lessons and practice can accomplish that. But someone with a milder case of the fades, this draw biased club will definitely help.
The Diablo will be money well spent.

Customer Service

Received a 5 woods "free" with my purchase as an early season sales promotion.
