The club is great...the shaft sucks. I played one round with this club with no problem, even though I was just getting used to it, played my second round and the clubhead flew right off...the club broke at the hosel. The club is great as I said, beautiful titanium sound, feel, and a great sense of confidence at address-just plan on reshafting.

Tried lots of Drivers but this one really works for me has RCH 4.0 Pro-Series shaft with a softer tip section, which suits me, been using it for 12 months. Just a flat out great driver!!

Customer Service

Callaways Customer Service is the best I have ever used.....1st Rate all the way.

Model Reviewed: Hawkeye Pro Series 9.5 degree

Have always been a fan of Callaway drivers (though the company's customer service is virtually non-existant). My Hawkeye is the Pro Series which has the tungsten weight positioned closer to the centre of the sole. I believe this makes the club face close slower, which is good for players like me, who draw or hook the ball . My drives are straighter and lower due to the 9.5 degree loft. Ball seems to keep rolling after it's landed and the Hawkeye is about 20 metres longer compared to the BBB. The "Tiinggg" sound at impact is even louder than the BBB / GBB and the stock shaft feels great with litle or no twisting. Only bad thing is when you force your drives, the Hawkeye Pro Series slices quite a bit.

Customer Service

Callaway themselves are terrible - never reply your e-mails. The local agent is great though.

Had this club now for approx 2years and I am away to sell it not because it is bad but to finance another driver not that I need a new driver I just "want" one. This driver has performed consistently since purchase with only the odd wayward shot which is probably down to my swing and not the club. If you catch it properly it will hit the ball as far as an ERC any day the main difference being that you are more likely to catch an ERC than this club as it has a larger sweet spot. It is suitable for golfers of all standards in my opinion. I couldn't fault the club.

Have tried most of the popular Brand name Drivers in the market. NOTHING beats the HawkEye.yes it may be shorter than the latest COR drivers, but IT finds the fairways more often than the rest.Best results with a UST Pro55 shaft (stiff) which i replaced with the original.I rather fly my next shot at the flag then to scramble it onto the green at 50m( so what if the drive is long n inconsistent. Model Reviewed: Hawkeye Pro Titanium, 8.5 degree

I spent about 2 hours at the range today and “demo’d “ some of the major new drivers in the market. Let me begin by saying that none of them convinced me to trade in my old Callaway Hawkeye Pro Titanium driver. That being said, I rank the rest as follows (all clubs were either 8.5 or 9.5 degree w/ x-stiff stnd. shaft): Callaway Hawkeye VFT Pro, Cleveland Launcher, Nike 330 cc, Taylor Made 360, Callaway C-4. The VFT was forgiving and long w/ a nice sound. The Launcher is nice. That’s about the only club that would make me drift away from Callaway. It’s got good distance, very forgiving, looks good and sounds good. I like the Nike club more than I thought I would. It gives good distance and forgiveness. The only downside is the sound at impact is a dull thud – sounds weak. The Taylor Made is obviously forgiving considering it’s massive size. I wouldn’t have this in my bag if it were free. The C-4 is a gimmick. Callaway seems to be sampling the market w/ this one.

great club if you want to kill a drive once in awhile, but to hard to control. I rather have control over distance on any hole. I guess it''s what you prefer...

Fore!!! You won''t have to yell that word out too much with this club. Upon reading reviews of this club, I still had mixed feelings about buying it. I figured out why I was hesitant to purchase the Hawkeye. I never played a round with anyone that had a sweet enough swing to properly wield this club. I bought this club brand new on eBay for an incredible price, arond $130 w/ shipping. It came with the Grafalloy ProLite Elite shaft (I swing regular flex) which worked well with the Hawkeye club head. The supposed draw bias screw certainly harnessed for those errant slices. Since changing the shaft to BiMatrx this club has been wonderful. The clubhead plus BiMatrx plus a swing that''s on plane produces a ball that favors the left (for you right handers) and a confidence boosting sound that let''s you know immediately that you''ve hit the sweet spot. I will agree with some of the other posts indicating that it can be chore at times working the ball to the right. However, even that slight knock shouldn''t deter anyone who''s on a mission to improve their swing and game from playing this club. Lastly, remember, so far Callaway has been the marketing juggernaut of golf so don''t think this club is a magic wand and will transform your game overnight. If you put the work in this club will go long and help you stay in the short grass. Happy swingin...
