I hit around 40 balls with this stick at my local range and was not too impressed. From my limited experience, it does seem to correct a fade slightly but you have to hit a few before you ""figure it out"" on this club. Doesn't go longer than my normal Driver and It sounds like tin can filled with rocks when you strike the ball. Seriously, I had people looking my way after several drives asking ""What is that?"" Like most drivers its no better and no worse than the majority of X's; purely a matter of personal taste. Customer Service A decent website. Seems very friendly. The Ti Pod Driver is the best driver I have ever tried! I never had a problem with distance, just distance and staying in the fairway! With the Ti Pod, (ugliest club I have ever seen) I am long and gone. Had been hitting a Ping ISI draw enchancing, which maybe went just a little farther when I hit it just right, but often I was off the fairway which meant that I added strokes to my game, with this alka seltzer on a stick. I ofen get laughs on the tee, but after about 4 or 5 holes the question I get most is can I try it? If your ball tends to go right and you would like to see straight and long and maybe the occasional draw I highly recommend this club! Similar Products Used: None |

It does have a unique look for sure, but really no uglier than any of the other ""Big"" drivers. It's big face is very forgiving and its back weighting lets you drive it really far. I let a buddy borrow it at the driving range and he ended up liking it better than his Big Bertha driver. Customer Service Customer service via 800 number was good. They sold it direct for $199. This is a huge value when compared to the other ""Big"" drivers. Similar Products Used: None |
