This driver hits long and straight. I shoot in the 90s, so not too great, but it has eliminated my slice and fade... face is 2 degrees openned, go figure... I usually have a high trajectory, but bought a 9.5 with stiff red shaft and now it's at optimal for me. I went in to Golf Town with an open mind and tried various suggested models/loft/shafts, it came down to the TM Burner or the XLS tour. Burner was just a tad more consistent, but the XLS gave an extra 10-15 yards and felt more exciting.

Model Reviewed: HIBORE XLS DRAW 10.5

I used a taylormade 320ti and was hitting 250 with a nice smooth draw for about 2 weeks, then it disappeared(thats golf) and i have not been happy with any driver in 3 years (slice happy). Till now. i love this club, used it for 8 rounds and each has been long straight drives as long as i dont try and kill the ball. this is a great product and killed my slice for good. this is not a good club or people who have a natural draw. if u slice, u must get it. its also te cheapest on the market compared to burner (2nd choice) fti and taylormade cgb

This is the easiet driver i have hit to date, so smooth no effert when you swing. You can work club some, the gold shaft seems to be the best. Try one, its not pretty, but it will help your game.

Trust me, I am not a Cleveland golf club fan. The Irons are OK in my book but I have never been sold on the Drivers and fairway hybrids. Did alot of research on the new hibore xls tour model and decided to take a chance. I purchaced the 9.5 degree, with the mid kick red on shaft on Thursday and got to hit it on Friday. I did not take it to the driving range to test, went straight to the cource and the first 9 shots were dogs. Had enough of that so I found a tee box that was empty and pulled out 10 more balls to hit. The 7th ball I struck was like no other I had hit off any driver. It flew forever with a slight draw and the hang time was close to 8 seconds. This is by far the hottest driver I have ever hit and the control,(after I learned how to swing it) was great. Played with it on Saturday and Sunday and playing partners were amazed how far and straight I hit the ball. I have hit abouth every brand of driver on the market and buy 3 to 4 drivers per year to keep up with technology, but that has all changed. The Cleveland Hibore XLS Tour driver is by far the best driver I have put in my hands.

Model Reviewed: Hi Bore XLS

Blesse me Father for I have sinned.

In my act of contrition, I promise to never stray for Cleveland again!

I've come back to the TA2 irons and CG2's ( I have a set in the car and a set at the club)

For too long have I strayed from the path of golf righteousness.

Driver is 9.5 with Gold Fit On in Stiff flex.

The club plays 2 degrees open. Thank God, a driver for people who are not slicers.

I am so sick and tired of closed face drivers with draw bias.

I have never liked Titleist drivers and this has left me in a quandry. What to do about the closed faces?

I played the Cobra X speed and L4V X speed and the L4V was quite fine until I tried out the XLS.

My ball speed of the driver is 159 on average. My carry is on average 258-266 then add the roll. These were my numbers with the Cobra.

Add about 10 yards with the Cleveland.

While the sound is can-like, I have heard worse. The X speed is far more tinny than the XLS.

Great ball flight, capable of offering some huge hits.

I'm not one of those 300+ guys. My longer pokes get me into the 290 territory, on a poa annua grass at my home course which has a slope of 138.

The XLS and TA2's have been a godsend and are in the bag to stay (as are the CG2's in my second bag).

I would recommend this driver to anyone who can work the ball and has a solid swing. It's a long club.

Customer Service

Very good. Called them before hand and went into head construction, shafts, etc... They were very helpful

This club is very long, and stubbornly straight (despite being the tour version).

Even with the 8.5 loft and Fujikura fit-on red stiff, the club pulls off a fairly high trajectory. Nevertheless, i found it acceptable, despite my tendency to balloon with other drivers.

I had a tough time working the ball. The result: a few wild shots. I do admit, the 2 degree open face plays naturally with a very slight fade, but closing the face is perfectly comfortable at address.

The feel is not especially good. The sound is a loud CRACK, which can literally hurt your ears in an enclosed range stall.

Overall, I love it. It's an exceptional value... and much longer than any other driver i've owned. I recommend this club to any player who loves blasting drives 50 yards past his buddies.

you can always use your 3 wood for finesse shots!

This club is great. I hit it great most of the time and it sounds solid when i do. It makes you correct your grip when you are aligned. It also straightens out your alignment of the club head.

Model Reviewed: Hibore XLS Draw

I was hitting the Taylormade Draw club and I guess I just outgrew it because my balls werent getting any better and i could not hit it with any accuracy. I hit the demo of the Hibore XLS and fell in love. I ended up settling with the 9.0 loft with the stiff gold shaft and it hits perfect. I have never beenso accurate with a driver. I love this club!

great club switched from callaway ft-i which was a great club in itself. it was a little to eavy for me and long shafted. i like the half inch shorter shaft of the hibore, face is a little longer and higher. moi is a bit better.. and its lighter.. the areodynamics for the club are better as well seems to swing better and with less effort. which enables me to realyl go at it .. misses are about the same as the ft-i not bad at all dont loose much distance with misses.
club gives great sound feedback. you know when youve hit one good and when youve toed or heeled it. this is a feature i love ... the ft-i sounded the same all the time ... the hiblre xls tour shaft was too boardy for me to hit consistantly.

stiff yellow shaft and i went with the 10.5 once i hit it a few times and saw there was no balloning. overall im very happy

btw i play to a 14 handicap
