Cleveland Launcher Ti 460 Drivers

Cleveland Launcher Ti 460 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Launcher Ti460 Driver uses Thin Crown Technology to make it even longer and straighter than the original Launcher 460. By adding new Thin Crown Technology to the Launcher 460 driver, Cleveland Golf designers have managed to take an already successful driver and make it even longer and straighter. The key to this driver’s renewed success is in the fact that 15% of the weight has been removed from the top crown of the clubhead and redistributed into lower and deeper locations around its perimeter.

Let me first say that I am an amateur club builder, who is always on a quest to find clubs that will improve my game with the swing I have. I am currently playing Cleveland's Ti460 driver. It's a nice looking club that does NOT look wierd when addressing the ball. I find it to be a long, and forgiving driver. With my modest 85-90 mph swing, the ball flies on a high trajectory and carries about 215-225 yards (with the Grafalloy Epic shaft). I was not happy with the stock shaft because I had problems with accuracy. I tried the Grafalloy Prolaunch shaft and encountered alot of ballooning. I then tried the Grafalloy Comp NT shaft and was very pleased with distance, trajectory and accuracy. At the prompting of Grafalloy's ShaftFit program, I then placed the Grafalloy Epic shaft in the driver head, and performance is even better. It is even more accurate. and about 10-15 yards longer carry. I can hit the Ti460 with the Epic shaft about 240 yards (carry and roll) with good accuracy. I have tried many other drivers, but I keep coming back to the Cleveland Ti460, and at $150 new, its an awesome bargain. I actually own two of them - one with the Comp NT shaft, and one with the Epic shaft. Make sure you find the shaft that fits your swing. All shafts (except the stock shaft) were "Pured" by SST and regular flex (but play softer than regular flex because I did not tip trim them).

I am a straight hitter and I find the closed face on this driver is causing me to hook or draw when I don't want to. Otherwise, it is a beautiful club, huge sweetspot, very easy to hit. Because I am trying to fight to draw/hook, I am tending to open the face, causing the ball to balloon. Unfortunately not the club for me which is sad because otherwise it is perfect.

Simply the best Cleveland driver on the market and at $150 brand new, the best driver on the market for the price period. I tried out the new SOUPBOWL-ON-A-STICK Hibore XL and could not keep it in the fairway. And besides, it's just plain weird looking. The Launcher has a beautiful 460cc head. Very classic looking. It is very straight and long. Has a high launch angle so you'll want to go with nothing more than a 9.5* head. If you can't hit this driver you should take up ping pong and forget golf. Best value in golf right now. I would give it 10 stars.

I have used cheaper dunlop clubs for some time now. The last one I had for 3 years. The feel was horrible and had the occasional bad shot. But... I usually hit it about 270 yards. I just bought my launcher. I hit it at golf galaxy and used the simulator. I hit it 310 yards with hardly any hook or slice. I am truely in love with this club. Best buy as I tried other clubs before I bought this one.

Have used this club for about a year now. Have found it to be one of the best looking 460cc clubs out there, with a very nice feel. Do need to experiment with shafts, I found the NV to be a little too much for me, now have a ProLaunch blue in it. When you catch it, it's a long driver. Great value now for $150 or less new.

bought the club for 175 CAD about a month ago. i've been using my old taylormade 360ti since new. it was a solid club - very consistent.
the 460ti is by far more accurate (keeps me on the fairway more times than not). it hits further and straighter than other models (Taylormade R7 and Ping G5 - tried at GoldTown). Got a NV Stiff shaft and 9.5 degree.
outstanding club for the price. plan on keeping this one in my bag for many many years to come !

I bought this club a few weeks ago after comparing it to the Nike SQ 460, Callaway FT-5, Ping G5, Cleveland Hi-Bore, and Taylor Made R7 and Burner. My Launcher has the Aldila NV extra stiff shaft, and is the 8.5 degree loft. The low center fo gravity of the club lets me get away with the lower loft, and the launch angle seems ideal. On a cold, windless day at the local range, I was hitting it into the netting at 250 yds with the ball still about 20 feet off the ground. I have always hit a long ball, but the control and forgiveness of this club is impressive. Of the other models I tried, teh Hi-Bore was the only club that felt as good, but the cost was twice as much. At $149 Canadian, the Launcher is a steal and a blast to hit. I highly recommend this club.

Finally decided to upgrade my Great Big Bertha after 8 fantastic years. I have been contemplating changing drivers for about a year now. I testing everything out there from Adams to Yonex. After hitting the Cleveland Launcher Ti 460, the search was over. I tested in the hitting area in Golfsmith and loved what I saw and felt. The driver is 460cc with a classic look(if that is possible). It is not ridiculous looking like some of the other new drivers. Very pleasing to the eye and easy to setup. I hit, what accounts to a large bucket into the net and calculated the results with the launch monitor and distance calculater, then compared them to many other drivers. The verdict is it has a very hot face. Consistantly faster ball speed than the others. The launch angle was close to optimum and carry was about 10yds more. I let loose a couple of times and noticed the ball did not loose much distance nor accuracy on miss hits. Before hitting the Cleveland, I was set on the Callaway FT-3. The FT-3 was a very good driver as well, but I was not nearly constant with it and it did not have the ball speed or feel the Cleveland did. The Launcher Ti 460 is a superior driver for the price. Brand new at Golfsmith - $149

Ive found the launcher to give me a new lease of life when driving, i recently had my golf equip stolen so renewed it with various brands to suit my needs, i bought a Nike SQ460 & struggled with it so badly i was close to smashing it up but decided to go to my local golf store & trade it for the Launcher, since then im now back to driving a long way & also very confident of shaping shots to suit the course, this really is e genuin letter & not some sales pitch so go try it for yourself like i did its really a fantastic buy.

I recently bought the Ti460 with the NV 65 regular flex shaft and 10.5. I had trouble at first keeping the ball in the fairway. I usually play a fade but I was hooking the ball at first. Now after getting more practice time I have increased my distance by 15-20 yards and keep the ball in the short grass. It has a great feel and sound and even mis-hits keep me in play. I purchased the club for $130 so I can't complain. I tried the Taylor made R7, Ping G5 and G2, and the MaGregor but found the Cleveland the best fit.
