Model Reviewed: Quadpro Ti 9.5 Bimatirx

After a 12 year layoff (we won't talk about that) I have been practicing and playing to the point that my swing is feeling familiar again. So, I decide to go see how far behind I was I golf technology. I've been playing my Callaway S2H2 9.5 small driver and actually like it very well (except for the closed face). But alas, the face on this club has flattened out so I went off on a search.
Coming from that small head I initially found the 300cc+ clubs to be unweildy and disconcerting. But I kept demoing and DID start getting used to it. I tried all the big guys like Taylor Made 300, Titleist 975D, Callaway VFT, Deep Red, Tour Edge Bazooka 320, Orlimar Tri+ and HipTi. I came down to the Taylor Made 300 and the Hipti - EXCEPT for the nearly $400 price tag.
Then I got a hold of a Quadpro and fell in love. The traditional lines and more conservative size simply allowed me to line up as normal, stand as usual and give it a good swing with NONE of the "I've gotta give this mudslapper a smooth, clean stroke" thoughts. Although I do tend to strike pretty cleanly anyway but this club gave me more of a feeling of "go ahead, go after it a little more:. And it certainly responds. The I got a hold of one with the Bimatrix shaft. For me? Perfect match since it gave just that extra feeling of the clubhead with out actually adding weight to the entire club and without making the head feel heavy. The Bimatrix seems to be suited to this club more so than some of the others I have hit it in.
Distance is exceptional with no noticlable reduction from the Taylor Made and the Titleist. It hung back a little more from the HipTi but the Quadpro always gave me a better feeling of control. And I found it easier to match those distances since I feel more comfortable jumping on this club. I find this club has a great trajectory with max carry yet very good roll. And the more muted thud is a beautiful sound to me as opposed to the aluminum baseball bat sound made by others. I also found the QP to be easier to hit purposely high OR low as was required by the particular hole.
As far as workability I have found ALL of the over sized drivers to be less workable than the smaller headed units but again the QP was the most comfortable, consistent and natural in this respect. I also firmly feel that the Bimatrix shaft contributed greatly to this feeling of control. The QP gave me this feeling with the UST Pro 65 and 75 as well but the Bimatrix felt better to me.

In short, this club was made specifically for me and I would encourage anyone else to try it - especially if the BIG heads give you the feeling of too much wind resistance. And Golfdiscount.com moving them @ less than $200 just sealed the deal.

None so far - and the tank-like build of this baby doesn't make me think I will need to use them at all.

this is an excellent club. i have demoed a few others and the only one that came close was the 975D, and even that didnt feel quite as good. this club looks great and is just right in size (260cc). i sliced a bit before i tried this club but there is something about the quadpro weighting that allows me to close the clubface better that any other driver i have hit. i played with this and the 975D yesterday and on the ninth hole i used this and bombed one somewhere between 250 and 260. this is not the most common occurence for me on the course, normally that length is reserved for the range. you can tell the difference between good hits and bad as far as feel but you dont lose much distance (my average yesterday was around 220), and the price is hard to beat! this is a great club!

I can't beleive the search is finally over!!! I like many of you have been in search for that perfect driver to fit my swing, and BINGO I have found it. After reading all the great reviews on the Cleveland Quadpro TI dirver I told myself to buy one and give it a chance. Man am i glad i did. Just in the last 2 months i've hit Ping tisi, Mizuno t-zoid, and some other big name big priced drivers. None of them came close to the Quadpro. The Quadpro may not be as long as the ping, but come on who wants to hit out of the rough all the time. I received my Quadpro today and didn't have time to hit it on the range before my match. I hit 4 out of 5 fairways on the front side and it 5 out of 5 on the back. The club sets up like a Titleist but is WAY more forgiving, feels better, and is as long if not longer. I know everyones swing is different and this driver may not be right for you, but if you are in the market for a new driver, do yourself a favor and try this one. You can buy them now on Ebay for around $200. I love this club!!!!

Dollar for dollar quite simply the best value in a driver. Great shape, good selection of shafts, and long and straight. Can't ask for more. I gave away a VFT to make room for this one. By the way, Cleveland is the fastest growing club company out there. 40% in each of the last two years.

This baby really pulls through for you in the clutch. I bought this baby in a french golf store or athletique store as they call it here. I found that it out performs my vokey by a mile. The price is solid and I would definitely recommend it to newbies and moderate golfers.

Wow! This is the best driver I've ver hit. I played with it for the first time this past weekend. My drives were longer and straighter than ever before. Hit more fairways. Outdrove my foursome.
Hit a few in the 275 yard range...straight! That is a new record for me!

The UST Proforce 65 shaft is highly recommended. The club feels great in your hands. Sets up nice.

You need to try this club. In addition, it is a bargain relative to other drivers in the market.

Imagine Titleist 975D with a "trampoline clubface"! This is it! Looks and sets up perfectly. Nice feel, sound, easy to work the ball, and as long if not the longest as all others out there! Much lower priced than others. Why pay more, when you can get a much better club at a lower price! I have a UST PF65 Regular flex shaft on it and it's a perfect match for me.

I love this driver! It took me about a week to get used to, but now I am absolutely pounding the ball. 275 yards on average, and good accuracy. I used to have a Great Big Bertha, but the Quadpro feels so much more solid.

This is an update on the cleveland Titanium Quadpro driver I bought 2 months ago. I replaced the standard stock graphite stiff with a Graffaloy Prolite 35 regular. This improved my consistency with this driver even more. Fairway hits per round is now in the 80% region. Distance about the same I experienced with my 975D that I used before purchasing this driver. If you are looking for a driver, definitely give the Cleveland a test. It is well balanced, sits beautifully and feels powerful - which it is! Value for money, probably the best driver on the market!

Model Reviewed: Cleveland Quadpro Ti w/ Bimatrix shaft

this club rules. It hits the ball a preety decent carry. But it roles forever, with the Bimatrix shaft. The value is amazing only 220. I paid 400 last year for my 975D. This is 5 yards shorter on carry but it roles about 30-40 yards more. When it hits the fairway it looks like it hit the cart path then it rolls forever.I would probably give it a 10 on value even though it only goes up to 5. Bimatrix shaft and a Ti driver for 220 now thats a great deal.
