10.5 Bi-Matrix Regular.
Like Richard said is pretty much what I experienced. With this stick, it is hard to find anything but the short grass. I traded my Mizuno Forged almost straight out for it after the prices dropped for target golf and it has delivered the goods and better distance than I expected for a 10 degree driver. The Bi-Matrix has a great ball flight. BTW - I actually saw a Pro hitting the new one (not that great I might add) If you need a driver that you don't have to think about on the tee this is the one for you. Quadpro Titanium BiMatrx 9.5 Stiff
Have been using an original Big Bertha for a long time, and never felt the need to upgrade until my buddies started getting their drives close last weekend. So I tried several titaniums out including the Taylor 300, 320 and 360. After reading all of the positive reviews on the Cleveland (and being a Cleveland iron fan) decided to try it out. I found the Taylor heads to be too large for my taste, though I got good distance on the simulator. The Cleveland was a better swinging head but seemed a bit shorter on the sim than the Taylor (maybe 5-7 yards). The Cleveland was very repeatable and was plenty long and half the price. Quadpro Ti 9.5 with PF 65 R
I am a huge Ping man and have had 4 TISI's in the past 2 years with all the different hot shafts. the PF 65, bimatrix, aj tech, and graffalloy. I have have just always liked the looks of the ping and loved having one in my bag with my i3 blades. Anyway, I played with my father in law this weekend and he has the Cleveland QP with a PF 75 R in the 9.5 and I started hitting it. Smoked my Ping about 15 yards from the role.... carry was about the same, but this thing took off like a rocket. Needless to say, I just sold my TISI with AJ Tech shaft and bought me a cheap Cleveland for more than half the price of a Ping. I love it. the ball clicks off the face, and it is very easy to swing smooth with hardly any resistance. I would say it is the best driver I have ever owned, can't wait for the launcher! Cleveland Quadpro Titanium 8.5
Had owned a Quadpro Driver previously and loved the improvement in accuracy it gave me. Gave up on it only because of a little less distance and the head was a little closed at address. Big mistake. My swing is in 115-120 range with the driver so distance is not a big problem, accuracy is. After going through the Pings, Titleists etc with the big heads that I've never warmed to I saw that Cleveland had come out with the Titanium head available at half the price of the other premium drivers and checked it out. Had the good fortune of having a simulator to a/b test different drivers and was absolutely astonished at the Cleveland. With the Bi-Matrix stiff shaft I was both longer and more accurate with the Cleveland. I liked the look of the Wilson Deep Red and liked the fat shaft logic so I tried the two side by side extensively. Was averaging a 260 carry with the Wilson and almost 275 with the Cleveland. My longest with the Wilson being about 280, the Cleveland 295. But the other part is forgiveness. Mishits on the Cleveland were only a few yards less, on the Wilson and Mizuno Forged it was considerably shorter on mishits. cleveland quadpro ti stiff shaft
read all the great reviews on this club, sounded to good to be true, im always looking for the perfect driver. the driver is the biggest problem with my game, hit it good one day and bad the next. ive played a lot of big name drivers and havent hit none of them as long & straight as this club. im hitting the stock stiff shaft and at this time if seems to fit my needs ok. might switch to a bimatrix shaft later because of all the great reviews on this shaft. i like the smaller head design vs some of the other brands of clubs with the larger head. this club seems to me to be a little harder to work the ball because it always wants to go straight, but 95 % of the time i need to hit it straight. for $170 new, what an outstanding value. think my search is over , dont see anything out there thats as straight & long for this kind of money. Quadpro Titanium 9.5*
Wow, what a driver. I have never had so much fun teeing it up before. I have owned more brand name drivers the past two years than you can imagine, or that I care to list. As many of you have, I too have been looking for "THE" driver. I think it's called trying to buy a good game. I have finally found the driver that suits me best. I have the 9.5* Quadpro Ti with the Proforce 75 stiff shaft. Seems to be the perfect match for my approximate 100mph swing speed. There may be drivers that I have owned that have provided a bit more distance, including a few of the new thin faced/trampoline effect drivers, but none have brought accuracy to my game the way this beauty has. I now have become a real Cleveland fan. I also have the Quadpro irons and fairway woods in my bag. Do yourself a favor and try one of these drivers out. Cleveland is just now coming out with a new driver called the "Launcher" and the price on these Quadpro Ti's have come down to the point that they are probably the best bargain in golf equipment right now. 10.5* Bi-Matrix
Tried them all, and finally found the winner. The Quadpro is straight and long, with plenty of roll. With the smaller head, and Bi-Matrix shaft, I finally feel that I am controlling the swing instead of the club. First time out, I shot my best back 9 ever! With the fantastic pricing on this model, I was able to upgrade to a truly great club, sell my HipTi, and pocket the difference. Similar Products Used: Ping TiSi, Taylor Made 360, Orlimar HipTi |
