The King Cobra SS 310 7.5* is a great club! I hit the stock shaft an average of 290 yards with the occasional 300+ yards. I am in the process of installing the Accuflex Assissin II long drive champion. I have tried the Titleist 975j-vs, the 983K & E, the Callaway VFT Pro series, the Taylormade R5 series, and the Zevo Compressor. They all have good qualities but the best and the most user friendly is the King Cobra SS. I am hoping that my shaft upgrade will give me an average well into the 300 yard range.

This thing is amazing! My old driver is a very old stainless steel that was giving me heaps of grief. Tried the Adams and the Wilson Deep Red at the last show, but no good. Tried this thing out and it felt good straight away. Took it out today and lost one drive in 12. Every other drive went longer and straighter than any of the other folks. Amazing! This thing has really changed my attitude to big drives. Got the 9 degree tour model, fibreglass regular shaft with high kick point. That's with the minimal offset. Usually get a little pull, but it can do a push easy if I just slightly open the face. It's important to align the hands where the marks are in the grips, even if the clubface looks weird. Superb stuff!

Tried this driver for two rounds. I liked the feel of the club, but the ball always appeared to fly way to high. I never had the patience to try different shafts out, so this may have helped. Currently using a TM R580 and this also flys high, but is considerably longer. On the Plus: Nice feel, Price, Head Size. Down Side: Ball flight, Perhaps the shaft.

This driver is the best i have tested. I tested the nike driver and it sucked. With this driver i get maximum distance and also maximum trajectory and it has knocked a load of points off my game. With the driver i hit most of the fairways and the distance i get is not far off 250 which is good because i am a junior.

I've been looking for a driver with a small head and quality shaft that suited my sving (122 mph). Now I've found it. This driver is very workable and have good distance. Directly compared to Taylor Made R510 the Cobra is a bargain. Equal distance couple of hundred buck cheaper.

Happy to be the second review. I agree with Grsadler,Gr Rapids, Michigan. I used to be in the 80's and have just returned to the links after an injury. I am basically Callaway everything and really wanted the C4 but a store employee suggested I try the SS310 first. If you want to rid yourself of those slices and get a natural draw to most of your shots this is the best club. I have tried everything and am convinced that this will helf shave a few more strokes. I am hitting 240 yds consistently with a few 300's thrown in.

Glad to do the 1st review on this club... I tried the 427 and 350, both great clubs. Went into the proshop to buy the 350 and they were out. They said they can't keep them in stock. He pulled out a 310, which I did not know they had. Had a different shaft (UST, made for cobra). Tried it on Tuesday night league. Hit this farther and straighter than any club I have ever had. Has a sweet sound to it too, very good look to it also. I had a Cleveland launcher which was a great driver, but the cobra pushed it out of my golf bag. One of my golf buddys swore I took a lesson, could not understand how I was hitting it so far. Had a couple 300 yd. drives. I usually am around 250 and maybe 275 on a really good one. This driver is cheap too as far as good premium drivers go. You can't go wrong!
