Bought my driver late last year. Best driver for the money. I'm a small guy 5'4" about 140 lbs, but I can easily hit this driver 280+ avg. I tend to hit it much better if I swing about 80%. My shaft just broke from a trip to Hawaii (damn baggage handlers!!) but I am planning on buying a new Loco Pro driver.

Model Reviewed: 10 Degree LOCO PRO

I'm a lefty but had a righty friend of mine with the 10 degree Loco Pro. He really likes his, hits it well and so the intrigue began. One of my lefty friends wanted to buy my 10.5 Cobra 380 and I guess I was ready to hit something different so I sold my Cobra. I found this Loco Pro slightly used on ebaY and for a good deal. Now the Cobra 380 was easy to draw but sometimes it produced a quick hook. I could power fade it at times but if I missed that shot I got a bad pull hook. Don't get me wrong, I still consider the Cobra 380 a solid driver and always will. What's very surprising is just how good the Loco Pro driver is. By just tweaking my set up I could hit straight to a slight draw. Move the ball slightly more forward, open the stance slightly and it produced the most consistent power fade I've ever hit. No pull hooks with this club and it's very long. It doesn't produce the audio the Cobra 380 does but the Striper shaft really releases for my 90 mph swingspeed. Outstanding driver and very consistent.

This is a terrific Driver. Got it during the long winter a haven't tested fully yet but can easily out drive all my friends. Huge head and and bright shaft great. Even the headcover is magnetic.

Upon reading the reviews on this site, a buddy bought two of these drivers, one for himself and me. We hit them today against a Taylor Made R7 demo. We can both consistantly drive 250 yards and beyond. This driver outperformed the R7 in our hands. Yes, its ball flight was higher and the shaft seemed to have more kick, as well as being more forgiving. We could not find a HUGE difference, but the Loco was longer by ten to fifteen yards. The R7's shaft was too X-stiff and may have played a role in the variation of its shots. Our swing speeds average around 108.

I have hit every driver made by the major equipment companys. This driver is as long as any made. It is very forgiving and rewards a well struck ball. It makes one wonder why the "big" name companys don't make a driver that the average person can afford. I paid $99.00 for this driver. I sold my Cleveland launcher 400, its that good!! Give this driver a shot and you won't regret it.
