Golfsmith, like many others, find they just can't make one model driver head..so they made the 310 6-4 titanium..then they came out with the 310 cm...then the 310 beta....then the 310 forged...bla..bla ..etc...tried them all...but the best was the original 310 6-4 titanium....this baby was sweet...still use it...even though it is many years old now..it still stays up with the high dollar boys of today. This is the only one i'd buy again...the other 310's that g/s made are junk.

Customer Service

have used them...they back what they sell...product for product...they are not too good about refunding product for dollar however. Not in the Houston store anyway.

I bought this head and shaft at Golfsmith on clearance for 40 for the head and 12 for the shaft, I bought the matching Golfsmith regular flex shaft. I am not happy at this point with the club, but I think its my fault, shaft is waaaaay to soft, all I can hit right now are low hooks. Golfsmiths standard swingweights are way too low for me. I am going to pull the head, add 9g of swingweight and try again with and aldila hm2000 shaft(the 84 gram model). Most of the golfsmith heads I have put together feel much more solid and forgiving if you put some weight in the hosel weight port. I am hoping this is the case as I love the looks of this club, just the right size and hope it will be a good replacement for my Original Trimetal deep face driver which suddenly went completely dead on me. Ill keep you all posted.

Customer Service

I always go in the store and buy, and they are pretty good.

I build this driver myself with a proforce 65 stiff shaft. It's a good looking club with a very balance weight distribution. However, just like other reviews suggested, it dose not perform well on miss hits or off center hits. Overall, for a cost around $120(the entire club), it provides decent distance on the center hits and serve as a good practice club for myself before I invest on a more expansive brand driver.

Customer Service

Good and fast shipping.

Installed the head with a stiff Proforce 75 shaft. Club was not as forgiving as one would think with a 310 head. Shots hit on the sweet spot go, but off center hits produce very very bad results. Good club for the price but I would suggest you save your money and buy a name brand club and demo several of them. This club did not have the jump in it like most name brands out their.

Customer Service

I had golf smith build this club. I was not happy with the job they did, would not have them do anything on my clubs again.

I purchase one of these clubs about a year ago. It was cetainly and upgrade from the Callaway War Bird I hit before this club. I recently hit the Integra TF-360. The golfsmith 310 dosn't even hold a candle to the Integra. At twice the cost I wouldn't even consider buying this club over the Integra. Don't get me wrong it is not a bad club but you will cetainly will not be getting the distance you could with other clubs particularly on the off hits.

I read the review here and decided to get one to see for myself since I was in need of longer distance off the tee since my 4+ wood was only giving me 220 yards.

I hit the club poorly on the mat without the tee, but I hit it sweet on the course with the ball teed up. For 18 holes, I was able to drive it 240 yards most of the time, which is pretty good by my standards. This will be my
driver until I can get my swing speed up to hit those lower lofted clubs.
