A friend bought this hunk of crap from a guy for $50. He didn't hit a single drive worth a crap. We were laughing that he actually got this thing. We tried it a few times and let me tell ya, easily the worst I've ever used. I hit my girlfriend's Walmart ($120 for whole set of irons and woods, plus bag) much, much better than this thing. The commercial is totally cheesy and the product is only worse. They claim that a vacuum pocket is created behind the club when swung..LOL!!!!!

Bought one of these at a 2nd hand sporting goods store at a reasonable price just to see if there was any validity to it's length.
Truthfully, I didn't notice any appreciable distance than my Titleist driver, but it was kind of fun to hit anyway.
I will probably keep it and occasioanlly use it out on the driving range, as it certainly does have an unusual shape.
I've been playing golf for over 20 years and have yet to find the magic driver...I think it's all in the individual, not so much the golf club.

Model Reviewed: Zolex hammer Driver

I ordered the Zolex Hammer Driver for $99 over the Internet on 3-20-07 and received it on 4-12-07. I played 18 holes of golf with it on 4-13-07. It was 20 yards shorter than the drives I routinely hit with my Ben Hogan CS-3, and no matter how hard I tried to hit a "draw", I only could hit "cut" shots. It was a huge disappointment, so I called today after my round of golf and told the customer service rep I was taking advantage of their 30 days money back guarantee policy. She advised that they would mail me the return authorization "within 3 - 5 days". Maybe it works for some golfers, but to me it is useless. I carry a solid 4 handicap, but if I would use this driver
regularly, I have no doubt I would balloon to a 10.

I bought the driver, 3 wood and 5 wood. I should have saved my money and went to a golf pro. I would not recommend this club to anyone unless I was playing against him/her with my 25 yr old clubs. Save your money and do it right see a pro shop and try out various clubs. Now I need to follow my own advice!!!!!!!!!

Don't buy the Hammer Driver off the Golf Channel as the company Golf Technologies is not affiliated with X-Factor Sports/Jack Hamm the designer/creator of the Hammer Driver. If you want to buy this driver and get it shipped via USPS Priority Delivery go to EBAY and look for LINKSTERS WHOLESALE GOODS. They buy directly from X-Factor Sports/Jack Hamm and ship all X-Factor Golf Equipment via USPS Priority Delivery 2-3 Days. The Golf Technologies Company has a very bad track record for shipping and delivery. The Golf Channel did make a mistake by allowing that company to market inventory they obviously don't have. Do yourself a favor and go to EBAY and save yourself money and time.

As for the Hammer Driver itself, it has a Triplekick Smartshaft that adjusts to each individual golfer's swing speed. The trick it to tee it high and swing smooth. Swinging at 115 mph will not net you the best results. This is not a driver for scratch golfers. Newbies and mid-handicappers will benefit the most from this driver due to the shaped-head technology and the Triplekick Smartshaft. A nice smooth swing produces excellent results. Jack Hamm includes a instuction sheet on how to use this driver and I highly recommend you read it before swinging the club. You will gain anywhere from 10-20 yards with this driver if you swing smooth and let the Hammer do the work!

Customer Service

X-Factor Sports/Jack Hamm always ships my orders expeditiously and the clubs come factory sealed in plastic bags inside sturdy golf boxes. I deal with Jack Hamm directly who is the designer/creator of the Hammer Driver, SuperPro Driver, Xplosion Driver and many other fine clubs. www.linksterswholesalegoods.com

I actually have this club and have played it for several months. I thought I could give it a thoughtful review. The odd shape head was odd at first. It grew on me after a few trips to the range. There is definately a clangy noise, which is odd to me but I can live with. I definately noticed an extra 10-15 yds, compared to my old Callaway big Bertha. The forgiveness was about the same as my taylor made r5, similar feel. I could not tell any difference on the shaft adjusting swing speed.

Customer Service

Not bad. Notice bad experience by others.

Not too sure if club is any good to be honest. I ordered the club off of The Golf Channel 23 Feb 05 and it is now 02 Jun 05. Customer service keeps on giving me "it's the manufactuer's fault and it will be in middle of next week and seeing how we only ship to Canada on Friday's you will have it in two weeks". 3 plus months later and still nothing. The Golf Channel still advertises and you can still order them "3-4 weeks for delivery" despite they don't have a clue when the "Manufacturer" will be delivering them. They have had my money for 3 months(interest on the credit card is an extra little treat you get while you are waiting for delivery)and they will continue taking money without giving out any product. The Golf Channel is not responsible or affilitated with Golf Technologies but one would think that if an advertiser was conducting themselves in non-professional manner The Golf Channel would remove them from their network until they corrected their customer service issues. Signed The Unhappy Canadian Golfer

Customer Service

They don't have a clue if this "Hammer" club thingy even exists. They will tell you it's coming just to get you off of the phone (you were on hold for 10 minutes prior to that).
