Model Reviewed: Integra 450 R SOO Long

I custom ordered this driver from Ebay simply because I needed an upgrade. The one Ive had since I began playing in April is a Tight Lies Clone, its an OK driver (10.5)with a small, shallow face. My max distance with it was near 215-220, I got my new soo long with(7.5) degrees,a custom 46.5 inch shaft, stiff flex and it has a huge head! Thats part of what makes it hard for me to get used to it. After one session with it, it feels really alien (bc its such a long shaft and big head) and will take getting used to. With the above stated however, I was certainly getting about 30 yds of bonus distance, as someone who never even carried the ball over 200 yds before, it felt awesome to carry a couple shots over 220+, it would likely have ran another 25-35 on the ground but I cannot say since the range only goes to about 220ish. Even on mis hits, i was probably getting about 200-210 yards. Also, when you really connect, it has a pretty nice sound like you know that you've clocked it! I had trouble hitting it straight, tons of hooks left and right, but I am betting that I will notice improvement after hitting this puppy for a few more sessions. Considering the price, I really think that this is a very good deal, based upon the fact that am giving it a 5! I will have to work out the kinks (accuracy) with it!

Model Reviewed: 10.5° with Proforce 65 reg shaft

Was a long time looking for a driver but didn't want to go down the path of paying big money. Eventually came across this little beauty and paid £80 (about $144 at the current rate) fitted with the proforce shaft. OK, so it may become illegal in 2008 but till then I have to say that it is a great club. Long, straight and forgiving. It's one of those clubs that works best when you let it do the work but does allow you to "rip one out" every now and again. OK, so it's not a big name but I don't worry about that. Performance is what counts for me and this club delivers. Best comment I can make is that after trying it, 3 of my friends went out and bought them.
