KZG PFT 300 Drivers

KZG PFT 300 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

The PFT/300 features KZG’s “Progressive Face Technology”. The face is ultra-thin in the center (2.3mm), and thinner yet at the perimeter (1.8mm). Greater tensile strength and elasticity is achieved by heat treating and forging the face insert. The ball literally explodes off the face. Classic deep face design in a 300 cc head. The interior weighting gives optimal trajectory with reduced spin. The gear effect is designed to control mis-hits.

Man this club is hot. Bought a demo from the University of Michigan Driving range and feel like I stole something. Hands down this driver is hot for swing speeds in the 90-100 mph range. Face is hot!!

The best driver I have ever hit, when I swing it easy it will get me 275-285 on average down the fairway, couple drive pr. round over 300, usually fairly straight, new for me. Tried many drivers, could not hit them consistently, used 3w or 3i of the tee for the past 3 years. Have lowered my handicap by 4 since I bought it 3 months ago. Sound is different.

The "tinny" sound is a little distracting and the club did not wear as well as other drivers. This club is advertisd as a big hitting and forgiving club. I have blasted some well, but the club is not as forgiving as advertised.

Great Driver, Had it made by the Guys at Bay Golf (Highly recommend them!). PFT 9 degree, with a Harrison Boron Gold Shaft. Club has a definite distinct noise, but it has great distance. The shaft has given my better performance in terms of accuracy.

I have tryed all different drivers VFT, Ping Ti-Tech, Mizuno, Taylor Made, Cleveland and the PFT-300 is the best so far. I had put this puppy 307, 312 and my best drive was 327 yard. This driver is not coming out my bag for a long time. My hat off to Jenifer and her crew at KZG.

club is pretty good. When i hit it against my warbird i hit it the same, so it wasn't all that great. Liked the trajectory a lil more. The sound seems funny but it still gets out there 275 on a pretty good one..

Model Reviewed: PFT/300 (10.5*)

The PFT/300 is easily the longest driver I've hit so far (see below). Good hits give me 250-275 yards all carry. The 10.5* of loft has a beautiful ball flight, though a bit high if I'm playing into the wind. The sound at impact is a loudish "clank", but nothing I would call distracting or annoying. Note: the PFT/300 is available with a square or closed face. Be sure to tell your clubmaker what you prefer if you're having one built for you.
