Mizuno MX 560 Drivers

Mizuno MX 560 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

If you were waiting for this new driver to hit your local store, you may be wasting your time. I purchased the 12 degree with regular flex DS3 shaft. Tried 12 degree because I had just been trying a Titleist D1 11.5 degree. This driver is a real disappointment, and I really wanted to like it. The styling of the head is cool, the closed face is not. Only the 9.5 sits square, but that is only the tip of the iceberg. I have never liked real loud drivers, Callaway X-460, Macgregors, and some others; even if they hit well the noise was too much to overlook. This MX 560 takes loud to a whole new level, my right ear was ringing when I left the driving range, hitting about 15-20 balls with this thing. The guy next to me actually groaned when I hit it, and I don't blame him, it is that loud. Not a good loud or powerful loud, just a loud loud bang or something. So I hear this explosion and look down the range expecting my ball to be barely visible, but I watch as it floats down a good 10-15 yards short of the Titleist. It was a 12 degree driver, but it barely flew pass my 3 wood, and I don't bomb it that long. Try this driver if you must, but do yourself a favor, install earplugs and bring extras for your playing partners or fellow range rats.

although this driver is very forgiving and hits easily, but the high pitch sound is too annoying. The feel of the driver is also very bad since, it'll feel the same if u miss hit the driver. Definately not recommended, there are other drivers out there that are better than this one. I had to return after a month because of the stupid sound it makes, it hurts my ear.

Wow, I really disliked this club. I made a mistake getting this on E-bay. I played 6 rounds and decided this was not the club for me. Regardless of your level of play, this club was SO LOUD it was downright annoying. It did not give me better yardage than the MX-500. Did I mention it was LOUD?? There are so many better game improvement drivers out there, not sure why anyone would choose this club.

I bought a 10.5 degree stock stiff shaft and its fantastic. The sounds a bit strange and ball flight very high. In my first round hit my longest drive ever on 5 out of 6 drives. Very forgiving and very straight flight. Estimate have added 25m and fairway hits by 15%. Great club

Mine is a 12* R flex Fuji Fit-on. This is a fun stick. The bone bandits that complain about the sound... can you imagine? Why not judge on performance... what a concept!

This stick is a blaster. The 12* hits high as expected, but is VERY forgiving and plenty long. I acyually like the sound. And what I really like is finding my pellet out there a long ways in the fairway.

This stick does appear to have a closed face, probably 2-3*, but all that does is eliminate one side of the fairway, which for most golfers is a very good thing. Hard to hit a banana fade with it, big deal.

Got mine for $79 hardly used at a Play it Again, a great deal.

No matter if you are a 70's shooter or a 90's shooter, fairways are good, and this delivers. It is not as long as, say a Cleveland Comp, but even though it is quiet and relaxing deep in the trees, I'd prefer to save the nature trial for when I am NOT playing golf!

WOW, what a club. I have found my dream driver after searching for years. Never hit the ball so long and straight down the middle. The confidence it gives you is unbelievable. The sound is loud but when you look up and see the ball zooming down the fairway, everyone wants a go

This Driver is fantastic. I've had mine 3 weeks it's so forgiving and hits the ball a mile.
I was concerned about the noise after reading other reviews and trying it out on the range. However on the course it's great. It makes a great sound at impact giving a real reassurance.
I tried a Taylor Made Burner on the range and this wasn't that much quieter. I love it, do yourself a favour and try it you won't be disappointed. All this stuff about the noise is rubbish

HAD BEEN GOING THRU SEVERAL DRIVERS FOR THE PAST SEVERAL MONTHS, TRYING TO FIND THE DRIVER THAT BEST FIT MY SWING, AND TEMPO. I USUALLY HAVE A LOW BALL FLIGHT,BECAUSE I DONT TAKE A FULL BACKSWING. THIS DRIVER SEEM TO FIT ME WELL, WITH THE FUJIKURA E150 IF YOU'RE IN BETWEEN A STIFF AND REG. LIKE I AM. GO WITH THE STIFF, IT PLAYS MORE LIKE A REGULAR. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS ALTHOUGH THE FACE IS SUPPOSE TO SIT SQUARE, IT DOES'NT ITS ABOUT 1 DEGREE CLOSED, WHICH I HATE. BUT ITS LONG, AND YOU DONT HAVE TO OVERSWING.SO, IF YOU HAVE A CLUBHEAD SPEED BETWEEN 85 TO 95, A PRETTY SMOOTH TEMPO, AAND DONT MIND THE SLIGHTLY CLOSED FACE, TRY THIS CLUB, I THINK YOU'LL LIKE IT. IT IS A LITTLE LOUD, BUT THE WAY THE BALL FLIES, WHO CARES ABOUT THE SOUND.

Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this driver -- I am a die-hard Mizuno fan (I play the MP-60 irons and they are the bees knees!)

I have (had) the 9.5 with a Proforce V2 Shaft in Stiff. While it was fairly accurate, it seemed to put a little too much spin on the ball and I noticed a good 10 yard deficiency in distance compared to my TM Burner Driver.

When it was all said and done, I couldn't deal with the offensive sound of the
Mizuno (loved the looks of it)....it looks like I'm back to the TM Burner, at
least through Brainerd.....maybe this fall/winter I'll find a driver with the looks of the Mizuno and the sound/feel of the TM Burner.

I purchased this driver new for this season. I was somewhat dissapointed in distance and consistency. Don't get me wrong, when I hit it perfect, I was carrying over 300 yards. I recently traded it (only got $80.00) for a new Burner, which are now on sale for a steal at $200.00. Absolutley superior in all areas.

Just as Taylor Made should stick to making woods, Mizuno should focus on irons. I have a set of MP57's and would not trade them for anything.
