Model Reviewed: Mizuno T Zois Titanium Driver 9 degree

First off this club is DEEP!!!
I am six foot five and I can pump the ball out there pretty good. But, the first time I hit this club I was amazed by how far this club hit the ball. I play Mizuno blades and I know that there is no other company out there that can touch Mizuno in the iron market. But, i have never liked their woods...until now. My short game has always been good but, my driving has always been in the rough. This club has made my shots longer and straighter. At address the deep royal blue looks great and then when drawing it back you feel as if you hope the ball stays intact after you crush it! The sound of this forged titanium club brings curiosity of everyone on the driving range as they turn to see you pound the ball 290+; then the fear sets in as they look at their paring sheets and see that the name that is on your bag is the same name in there threesome which tees off in 27 minutes! I did reshaft this club with a Harrison Pro 2.5 Feather Light shaft. This shaft helped me turn my fade into a hard draw. I highly recommend this driver and Harrison shafts.....

now the 3 wood is another story. The 13 degree 3 wood is just not for me, I can hit it ok but I just do not have the confidence like I do over my Titleist 3 wood, or I really like the way the Firesole 3 wood sets up, but hey, give it a try the driver works for me but not the three woods but you might love it.

Just got the club. I bought it based on the advertising, features and comments from this web site.
I tried the Orlimar trimetal 9.5 since I own the 3 wood Orimar Plus and really love it. I hit the Orlimar very well but since I wanted to get the best club I could I wasn't sure the Orlimar was it. So I bought the Mizuno.
I am not that happy with it so far.
1 round of golf and 1 bucket of balls.
Not that great of results so far.
I think I like the Orlimar better.

I'm going to try a couple of more buckets and see what happens.
If I don't get a groove with it, then the Orlimar comes back.

Switch from Taylor Made Ti2 to Pro Forged 9 degree. I agree with many of the previous reivews. Replace the stock accel-arc shaft. I still play with T-zoid 3 and 5 wood. I literally have broken 6 shafts on all my Mizuno woods. I finally stopped replacing the shafts with Mizuno accel-arc and put a Penley shaft in. No more broken shafts. Better control. The Accel-Arcs have really high torque and for me that what lead to me breaking the shafts and seeing my clubhead go flying (twice with my driver). But overall it is a great club.

Like the stock shaft. I'll trust the R/D at Mizuno over the whims of the club pro. Good trajectory. The 10 degree really bores out nicely. Love the stock cord grip and the championship blue and white headcover. Fit and finish of this club are top quality. Price is very competitive for such a high end club. As a high handicapper I found this club to be confidence inspiring and not at all intimidating. However, tends to be more of a fader than draw-enhancing club like the Callaway but then again I think you get a better looking feeling drive with this club than the Hawkeye.

Model Reviewed: Mizuno Forged 9* with Penley Tour Light

Very long, sweet feeling shaft, very very light, maybe too light. Much better feel and consistency than the ProForce65 I had, and a quantum leap better than the stock Accel-arc-out-of-bounds shaft it came with. I recommend Penley now and may try their Platinum shaft to add a little heft.

Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love this club. There is only one thing about this driver that keeps it away from perfection, the piece of crap that mizuno sticks on this driver and calls it a shaft. This shaft is horrible, too whippy, and unpredictable. I'm going to have to reshaft mine with a EI-70, due to losing too many drives to duck hooks.
The actual head of this club is purely amazing. It is one of the longest that i've tryed. It has a ton of carry, and great trajectory. This club has a great sweet spot, and is still goes 230 on off center hits. When you hear the ball smack the center of this club, you don't even need to look at the ball fly, it's dead straight and super long.
If you are going to try clubs, i strongly recommend to add this one to your list. Packs more of a punch than the 975d, for less money.

Not much can be said about this driver that hasn't already been said. For the money, I feel this is the best driver on the market, although the stock shaft did not work at all for me. After struggling with the trajectory I got from the ProForce 65, I have reshafted (again) with an EI-70 Tour X flex shaft. My swing speed is around 115, and this shaft paired with the 9* head is perfect. This driver is a par-5 killer!

Wow! Mizuno does a great job to deliver DISTANCE, CONSISTENCE, FEEL, and BEAUTY all in one driver.
I've tried all new drivers in the market and I am sick tired of being overcharged by the big Four-Ping, Callaway, Taylor Made, and Titleist. With the fond experience from Mizuno's MP-33 iron, I decide to give T-Zoid Forged Ti driver a shot. The result is way beyond my expectation. In terms of feel, this driver beat all the drivers in the market. Both the sound and feel of impact make me believe the quality of Mizuno's forged titanium and its so-called CORTECH design.
The alignment design on the crown is very helpful, and I love the combination of its deep blue club head with Pro force 75's yellow-blue shaft.
The price is reasonable, 10%~20% cheaper than the big four.
If you are out there looking for a new driver now, please do yourself a favor and give Mizuno T-Zoid a try. It will become a classic and you will not regret to buy it because it will stay in your bag for a long, long time.
