THIS IS THE LONGEST DRIVER I'VE EVER HIT. I HIT THE 300 YARDS ON THE SWEETSPOT EASY AND IM ONLY 16 AND 140 POUNDS. I HIT THE BIG B HAWKEYE 270 AND TITLEIST 975D 275. THIS BABY SHOULD GET AN AWARD!

A great looking club, if you are tired of oversize drivers. Not the most forgiving driver but if you can hit it square and center, it delivers extremely long distance along with sweet feel. I love its lower, boring tracjectory, too.
I would not recommend this driver for slicers or high handicappers.

I've tried a lot and owned a lot of drivers out there and this is one of the best. I found it was longer than the GBB. It has the Turbo Gold shaft (S) which IMO is better than the Accel-Arc for quick tempos. The 9.5 is also slightly smaller than the now standard oversize 250-260cc, sets up slightly open and helps me fight my chronic hook/9 holes. This is my keeper and I've been looking/trying for years.

This club has a large head and is suited to the higher handicapper. I found it to have inconsistent distance and it is difficult tell when you have made bad contact because it always makes the same loud twang. The shaft feels whippy and uncontrollable. However the large head inspires confidence and can produce good distances when the shaft matches the swing speed well.

I re-shafted both clubs with the Accel-Arc Pro stiff in the T3 and the Tour Stiff in the Mighty Big. Both clubs now have better control and a slightly lower trajectory. The stiff in the T3 is still whippy but feels solid and gives tremendous distance with not too much feel. The Tour stiff in the Mighty Big is very solid but costs me about ten yards in distance. The Mighty Big hits the ball very straight and it is harder to work the ball with this club. It is also bigger than I would like and forces me to stay still on tee shots or it doesn't work. The T3 looks great at address and hits the ball high and straight if hit properly. Mis-hits aren't great but that isn't usually much of a problem. Good hits are very long(300+). I had the club reshafted at the end of last season so I can't wait to use it this year on the course in mid-summer. The Mighty Big is for tight courses. I am toying with the idea of switching shafts between the Mighty Big and T3 so that the more flexible shaft is in the more forgiving driver, but I will wait until well in to the season before I try that. Both are excellent values compared to any of the top-line clubs out there.

Customer Service

Customer service is very slow and won't take calls from the public, but rather would have you contact the dealers and have them contact Mizuno. That drives me crazy and if their products weren't so good, I would drop them in a minute.
This is a recent change because I used to deal with the local office here(Mississauga). Now they tell me to contact stores and to have them make the contact.

Ive been looking for a good driver which should control my slice and I found it using the PRGR . However, as Ive used it for two years, I thought of trying something else. And I found a better one with this T3. Great, straight and forgiving.

Had a Callaway Steelhead that I could never hit consistently. Demoed this club and bought it on the spot. Distance has increased by 30 to 40 yards thanks to the Proforce 65 shaft. This club is extremely forgiving and looks much better at setup than the closed face of the Callaway. If you can find one buy it. It's probably one of the best kept secrets in golf.

Model Reviewed: Mizuno T-Zoid Mighty Big 9° Driver

Longest and straightest driver I've ever hit. Consistently at 30-40 yards longer than before, hitting 12/14 fairways. If you are a big slicer, the 46 inch shaft will exaggerate your left-to-right ball flight, so it will make you execute a draw, which is a longer shot. I just completed a round today, here are the drive distances: 242, 246, 256, 263, 277, 283, 283, 284, 285, 285, 335, 346. Average of 282, including roll. Found it for $199 at golfstore.com online, no tax, free shipping. Regular stock shaft has perfect kickpoint for me. The ball flight is real high, so I got the 9° (I usually hit a 10°) and get lots of roll (30-40 yds). Try it, you'll be amazed. Big face makes you feel like you can't miss, so it's easy to make a full swing with total confidence. Don't pay $369, find it for less.

In the last three years I have gone through 4 drivers. I thought, Well, I'm getting older and I am not driving the ball as far. I went from hitting the ball 245-250 to 220. Well that has changed, I am now hitting the ball 260-265 yards. This is a nice and much wanted change. It really helps in the iron game and the mind game when you know that you are going to be hitting your second shot 40-45 yds. closer to the pin. This is the best driver I have ever hit.

Model Reviewed: Full set of T-Zoid T3's and Comp Irons

I have played forged irons and persimmion woods my entire life (36 years) and purchased the Mizuno T-Zoid T3 Titanium woods (9 degree driver, 3 & 5 woods and the comp irons based on the feel when I test hit several different brands. Nothing could compare so the sale was inevitable. I have never been a big fan of metal woods, kind of a purist I guess, but after hitting the driver and fairway woods at the golf shop, I was sold. I am consistantly 30-40 yds longer on drives and fairway woods and at least 15 yds longer on the full range of irons. These are unquestionably the finest set of sticks on the market today. It's interesting to note that I have received several comments from other players on the great looks of the clubs also. Ususally not a midigating factor for men, but they sure get noticed where ever I go. Thanks Mizuno, what you have acomplished with these clubs is pure pleasure. It has made playing golf fun again and I have a whole new outlook on the game.
