Nickent Golf GH Plus HyperForged™ Titanium Series Drivers

Nickent Golf GH Plus HyperForged™ Titanium Series Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Technology in its purest form has make possible the development of what we believe to be our most exciting product to date. By combining Reactive Face Thickness™ (RFT) technology (the power behind our 450 HyperSteel™ wood series) with the explosive strength characteristics of forged titanium, our design engineers have harnessed the power of the "spring-like effect" to produce a series of drivers that push the accepted legal limits of club performance.

I am so happy with this driver. I bought the hypersteel last year, and loved it. I saw the HUGE Titanium driver and had to have it. Its hard for me to believe that I could ever hit a 300 yard drive, but I have done it twice this year. I am consistently 275 yards. With the help of the GH plus Irons I have taken 10 strokes off of my game. For the quality and the price, I don't think they can be beat. I just had the local golf store special order a Nickent hat for me so I can do a little advertising for them. At least try one of these out, I am sure you won't be dissapointed. NO I DO NOT WORK FOR NICKENT, BUT I WISH I DID!

What a driver, what a price! I am a long hitter anyway, but this fantastic driver has put 25 - 30 yards on my best. You will notice the difference immediately, especially into a head wind. The sound as the ball comes off the face turns heads from nearby golfers. All I can say is BUY ONE NOW !!

Great Driver, i love this club. Seems alot straighter than the 3 wood, no idea why but i get a fade with the 3 wood off the tee that i don't get with the driver. Here's where my review goes bad for Nickent...i have had to use the 3 wood for the last month because i noticed the shaft was splintering a bit near the head and sent it back to them to fix. See below for customer service.....

Customer Service

Horrible, I will never buy another Nickent product after dealing with them replacing a shaft. I took it in and they said "about 2 weeks"....after 3 weeks i called the store and they said they would ch

I finally have a driver that I can hit long & straight! This is my 3rd driver. I had one specially built last season, but it was nowhere near as nice as this one. The standard shaft length gives me much better control. The offset weighting in the head (see Nickent web site) must be helping me. I used it 10 times in my last round, and shot 100 for the first time. My game still needs work, but I hit 10 fairways which was terrific! Two drives went at least 275, and 3 more were 250+. Great driver!!! Also, can't beat the price!

Just got back from the driving range with the Nickent HyperSteel for the 2nd time; fixed my fade tee shot (open face at the top). Although I was reluctant to purchase another driver for the 3rd week in a row (TM300, Bajooka 320J), I couldn''''t pass up the $50 price with a UST ProForce 65 stiff shaft. I had played with this shaft before. What a steal at $50. The shop manager said he''''d heard good things about this GH Plus model from Nickent. He wasn''''t wrong. Although I wished he had the titanium model with the ProForce. Anyway, this smaller HyperSteel 450 club was so easy to hit. Now that I have corrected my swing, I can hit it straight or with a fade at will. The club sets up very nice, instill confidence with the ProForce stiff. It sounds quite nice, not as metallic/ceramic as the Callaway Steelhead Plus. As for distance, it ain''''t no titanium. But it''''s as far as any steel head (Callaway, Cleveland, Taylor Made, etc.). You won''''t be disappointed, unless you paid over $200. There''''re other good buys at $200 (i.e. - Taylor Made 300 only, not 320/360).

Did not like this driver. Although I am in the minority here I found the 360 size head is just to big. To hit the sweet spot I had to have the ball teed very high. I found the ball was going all over the place. This may just be me as the other reviews seem to be quite positive. I found the feel off the head to be quite dull. I have since switched to the opposite extreme with an Orlimar Trimetal Driver. I find the smaller head much easier to control with no loss in distance.

I''ve played this driver for about 5 rounds now and am hitting further and more fairways than I ever have. When I purchased this club I demoed it against a few others including the taylor made 300 seriew and the Wilson deep red. I found that this club is just as good as those if not better value for the cheap price that you pay. For a forged titanium driver at this price I don''t think there is anything better out there. The ball flies of the face and rolls for miles as well. Hitting many drives 250 metres +.

I DEMOED THIS DRIVER JUST FOR SH_T_ AND GRINS BECAUSE A BUDDY OF MINE WORKS FOR NEVADA BOB''S IN CHICAGO. HE ASKED ME TO TRY IT AN GIVE HIM AN HONEST OPINION. ANYWAY, I AM MORE COMFORTABLE WITH A DRIVER THAN MOST, AND I WAS CONVINCED THAT THIS THING WOULD BE LIKE ALL OF THE OTHER LESS EXPENSIVE DRIVERS I''VE HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO TRY. WELL, THIS CLUB MIGHT BE A RARE EXCEPTION. IT''S AS LONG A DRIVER AS I''VE EVER HIT, (ERC II INCLUDED), AND AT A 360 CC''S IT IS ALSO REALLY FORGIVING. IT''S WELL BALANCED, LOOKS REASONABLY GOOD FOR A HUGE HEAD, FEELS DECENT, AND DOESN''T SOUND LIKE A ALUMINUM BAT. THE UST SHAFT IS A PRETTY GOOD MATCH FOR THE HEAD, AND DOES A GREAT JOB OF KEEPING THE BALL IN THE FAIRWAY ON MISSES. I WAS IMPRESSED BY THE CLUB, AND ALTHOUGH I AM HAPPY WITH MY 975J AND DIDN''T BUY ONE, I''D CERTAINLY SUGGEST AN AVERAGE GOLFER ON BUDGET CHECK IT OUT. AS FOR MIKE FROM LA''S REVIEW, HOW DOES SOMEBODY THAT SHOOTS IN THE 90''S COMPLAIN ABOUT A DRIVER THAT DOESN''T FLY TRUE? YOU''VE GOT TO HIT ANY DRIVER IN THE SWEET SPOT CONSISTENTLY TO GET IT TO PERFORM RIGHT. THIS STICK IS ANYTHING BUT POORLY DESIGNED, AND IT''S PROBABLY THE BEST DEAL ON A HUGE TI DRIVER I''VE EVER HIT. YOU''RE RIGHT ON ONE THING MIKE, IT IS DESIGNED FOR HIGHER HANDICAPS, AND THERE''S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT IF YOUR LOOKING FOR AN EASY TO HIT DRIVER.

Customer Service

NO EXPERIENCE, BUT MY FRIEND TOLD ME THEIR WARRANTY POLICY IS SUPPOSEDLY AS GOOD AS A COMPANY LIKE CALLAWAY''S. THAT''S SAYING SOMETHING.

Wasn''t too sure initially; had tried 10 deg, 320 cc head with ProForce 65/reg flex shaft. Unable to control shaft- balls flying everywhere. Exchanged for 9 deg/320 cc head with ProForce 65/ stiff shaft- tremendous difference! Ball leaps from face- moderate height but what distance!!! Able to keep drives in fairway with no problem. I have just as much control, distance and forgiveness as with TM 320 at half the price. For those looking for performance without taking out second mortgage, look no further (no, I am not employed by Nickent or Nevada Bob''s- I''m just a cheap SOB that wants the best value for my hard-earned dollar).

Customer Service

This is a very good club. Having decided on the TM 360 I went to the golf shop they gave me the TM 360, Wilson Deep Red, Titlest 975J to Demo at the range. Whilst at the range the pro gave me a Nickent to try as well. After 2 hours of testing it came down to the Nickent and the TM. I was hesitant to purchase the Nickent because I had never heard of the Company. But I listened to my mind not my heart and took the Nickent and I glad I did. The Club has the Variable Face Thickness which makes the ball fly really hot of the club when hit off the very large sweet spot. The feeling of the club is good for off center hits and doesn’t lose a lot if distance when it occurs. After a couple of rounds I have gain between 15-20 meters giving me an average of about 230 – 240 meters. I highly recommend this club to anyone but don’t expect to but the club and all your problems to be fixed. You will need to spend a little quality time with it at the range.
