Model Reviewed: Nike Ignite 410, 9.5*

I picked up this club on Craigslist for next to nothing. I was hesitant about the 9.5* loft with the trajectory that I normally hit with a driver. It turns out the loft was just what I as looking for. The ball just launches when you catch the sweet spot, and is fairly forgiving with mis hits. I really like the 410 size, anything bigger is awkward for me to handle. I regularly have drives in the 265-280 range with this club, but when I catch it just right I have driven them 300 and straight as an arrow.

This is a fantastic club. I like the 410 cc better than bigger ones, they feel smoother in the swing to me. Mine had the fujicara shaft and I upgraded it and noticed a definate improvment. A friend of mine has one with the Aldilla shaft and they are far better. The best thing any of these newer Nike clubs have going for them is the nex-ti technology. Ive tried many other clubs and mis-hits cost you dearly, but not with this nike technology. Even mis-hits go extremly well. The distance is also on par with any club on the market. Im thinking about giving the Nike sq a try just for the Nike nex-ti technology and the higher loft because I tend to need more loft with my swing. If they had one I would get that model in 410cc as well. Otherwise the 410cc ignite is a keeper. And Ive gone through quite a few drivers trying to find what the Ignite gives. Highly reccomended especialy for the casual golfer. Who cares how it sounds, the results are amazing. I would give it 5 stars if not for the fujicara shaft.

Several off brands, all were so-so at best. Callaway big bertha, mis-hits were awful. Taylormade (I think it was a 2003 model), hated it. King cobra M speed (also an excellent driver).

this driver is the one.first shot at the driving range was straight down the middle.i was able to put the ball were ever i wanted at the range.the shaft felt great as well.i thought the 400cc nike was long.however i was hitting 25yards atleast farther than the 400.and the 400cc nike easly out drove my big bertha 2 that i gave away.this club is going to drop me enough to finally get in the 70's more regularly.highly recomend this club.bought it on a online auction for 42.00.

Model Reviewed: Nike 410 Ignite Driver 9deg

Bought on sale, used it on the range and course. It had a synthetic feel, and strange sound. The ball did not go as far as my Callaway GBB II (-15yds), and lack control due to it's synthetic feel, very little feedback. I found the head twisted more than normal, almost like the VFT, which has a draw bias. Directional control was difficult. I even like the Cleveland drivers much better for feel.

It was a decent club for $180, but not worth keeping in my bag. Some people love Nike equipment, perhaps their newer stuff is better. I think they have a long way to go to build 'feel' into their drivers.

This is by far the best driver I have ever owned. I hit the ball farther and more straight than I ever have.

Model Reviewed: Nike Ignite+ 410

Recently purchased Nike Ignite+ 410cc with the stock shaft and 9.5 loft. Whoaa what can I say, it feels so great. The sweet spot area is even greater than the 460cc drivers. My ball just launch medium high with average of 220 yards of carry distance (without the rolls). Usually I only get 205 yards. Best driver I ever had, really.

Model Reviewed: Nike Ignite 410cc NV shaft

This is probably the longest and most consistent driver i have ever hit, once i got used to it. The feel is outstanding, and it maintains workability while still having plenty of forgiveness. My friends have other drivers that i have hit and the bottom line is that no other drivers produces the launch conditions and distance that the ignite does. Before i bought this club i was spraying drives everywhere, and now i find myself hitting chip shots from the short grass to most par fours. I have had my longest drive by far with this club at 350 yards.

Model Reviewed: Nike Ignite 9.5 NV Stiff

What a great driver! It's long, straight and it's forgiving too! Takes a while to get use to but once 'broken-in', its a pleasure to use. It looks good at address and is confidence inspiring with its head-size.

The sweetspot is really sweet and therefore results in a long boring flight. The ball just flies and flies. Provides good feedback too that lets you know how well or badly you have hit the ball, which is necessary for a good driver.

With a swing speed of between 100 - 110mph, managed to hit the ball between 260 - 280 metres each time. The NV shaft with the Ignite head is a great combination. Tried the same shaft with the 905T and got between 250 to 260 metres. The 905T head does not seem as responsive as the Ignite. Maybe its the swing. The stock Ignite shaft however is too whippy and not very controllable, resulting in consistent hooks.

Only thing the Ignite could do better is a give off a better impact sound. Otherwise it is the driver to have and can be found at a reasonable rate on ebay now. Think it can be used by any level of handicap.

Nike has a winner here so grab it before it all runs out. No point going for the newest drivers at higher cost but not get the results you desire... This driver is a keeper!!!

Model Reviewed: Nike Ignite 9.5 Driver

I decided to try the Ignite driver because I own the Ignite 3 and 5 woods and I love them. Because my fairway woods have regular flex shafts, I purchased the regular shaft driver. What a mistake. I was spaying the ball in every direction. It felt to me that the shaft was way too flexible for the heavy head. I have since traded for the stiff flex and now I love the driver. It's very straight and consistent (and relatively long).
