Nike 450 Forged Ti Driver
EVIL... best describes Nike drivers. On the positive side, when they go straight (which is not very often), they go long, very long. On the negative side, they have a closed face and make it very difficult for a good golfer to use them. I've owned bot the Nike 400cc and 450cc versions and have had the same results with both. Maybe it's me, but I just can't get the alignment right with these drivers. I've not had any trouble with my Taylormade or Callaway drivers I've used in the past... I'm gong back to my Taylormade 360... I'll get 15-20 yards less distance, but at least I'll be in the short grass and at my club, that's imparative. I was fitted for this driver at the Nike web site. I have to say for my slow/smooth swing speed avg 93 mph for a drive and 81 mph for a 5 iron this is the best drive I have owned. Played nine hole with our asst club pro from the back tees, Longest drive was 280, shortest was 230, not bad for someone that usually only hit it 210/220. Also hit 6 out of 7 fairways. This may not be the club for everyone but if you have a slow/smooth swing and want more distance try it. Customer Service Have had no problems. Ordered club one day and received the next. No shipping charge. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975J, 975D, Taylor Made Burner Bubble, Taylor Made 200 graphite |
