I got this driver second hand for $90 on the internet. at first i could barley hit it, but i persisted and now im getting more and more confident with it.
i have been playing golf for 6months now and i have out driven many of my playing partners who own drivers such as the TM burner and burner superfast, titleist 909, nike SQ. it is long and forgiving but it takes time to get use to. in short its a great driver for the money it costs.

Got this about a year ago. It usually just sits in my bag, though I do break it out about once a round. I, personnally, do not like the feel of the club during the swing. I believe it is because of the club head being so light with the weight spread out as to be almost insubstantial. Most of my shots with this club end up in the woods or the water.

I started playing 8 months ago and this is the only driver ive ever had, I find nothing wrong with it and I wont change for a while, its a good driver and i like it, guys, quit wasting your money on a club your gonna use 14 times tops a round and spend your money on good wedges and putters, DUH!!! If you have a good swing this driver will do fine, almost any newer driver will get the job done as well as your buddies, If your gonna spend money, get lessons or a putter that your gonna use 18 times a round and thats if your darn good, the people who invented golf say that a two putt is standard so that putter will be used 36 times a round and thats if you shoot par and hit every green, I got lessons and im a 6 handicap and number three player on my high school golf team. just think about what your buying and how youll use it, youll be much happier. I gave four stars cause I havent tryed anything else.

Nike's done an amazing job at using Tiger Wood's marketability to doop average golfers into paying high prices for inferior products. I opted not to play college golf so I could play on amateur tours and hopefully be a sponsored pro within the next couple years. But I do attend college and I did a project for a class on Nike golf's marketing schemes and uncovered some shocking things. I won't get into the details but I will say that Nikes products are not much better than the crap ypu see in walmart.

I bought this Driver as an ex Demo and it has performed above my expectations. Having never hit a 460 before it did take some time to learn how to hit well every time. Now I have a cannon. I regularly hit it over 250 meters and my best drives are around the 280 meter mark. Only once have I cracked 300 meters. Now that I have shaved 20 points off my handicap since I have own this I am starting to experiment with different types of shots. Punches, fades and draws off the tee are all easy to set up and execute. When i'm on fire with this driver none of my companions can out drive me. Tempo is very important as well. Swing to hard and fast and all you'll get is a slice. Keep it smooth and it'll go straight with a nice draw every time. I can't hit it off the deck on the fairway but I suspect that's me. Time for another lesson!!
When I let my playing companions have a go with it, they love it and want to ditch their driver for mine. However, I won't part with it yet.
Great Driver and highly recommended.

I have tried MANY drivers. This season I played most of my rounds (dozen+) using a 3 wood for driving. Decent distance and less of a slice. I recently got to try an Ignite 460, 13 degree. I hit it longer than the 3 wood and just about as straight. I do not have a big fast swing due to shoulder problems, but I have been hitting the Ignite a little over 200 yards consistently. It is now in my bag and I'm almost back to the game I had before shoulder surgery. Get it from ebay for under 100 bucks, and make sure it's the 460.

OMG, I went to Dicks Sporting goods for the 2nd time to try out those 2 new nikes sumo & sumo2 and didn't do too bad. Then the lady there said I could bring in my own driver and check it, I did just this. My nike ignite 460cc had a tighter shot box and my max of all time was 247 just barely off a straight line. I was trying to find out what kind of shaft to use. She taped up stiff & regular of TM burner & r7 superquad, plus 1 regular of FT5. at least I got 233 out of the FT5. I'm done with TM as far as the drivers go. Plus the new model nikes are not all that. The sumo2 sounds kind of like a metal bat and the sumo to me is actually better and more consistent. Stick with the old school stuff, All titanium 460cc drivers, maybe that launcher ain't bad then hmmmmm. Regular for me? I guess the stiffs are for like body builders or something. NIKE IGNITE ALL THE WAY!!!!!

All I can say is WOW. My friend had done some research on the internet and told me he was going to get Cleveland Hibore, not the XL one, so I bought one off of Ebay. Don't believe me look it up for reflex615. Anyway, it was the worst driver of all, small head, not 460cc, and sound like to red bricks making contact together. So I sold it and got this Nike Ignite 460cc cause someone said I was a high handicap and relly need 460. This club is LONG & STRAIGHT. Me and 3 other buddies played front 9 only and I out drove on every TEE box, even verse a 6'4 and a 5'11 guy who is bigger muscle wise than me. I'm 5'10 and the other friend is also 5'10. I did get lessons last week which improved my driving with tweaks. Anyway i'd recommend this driver to anyone!!!!!!

Decent club head. Horrible shaft. My swing speed is about 90 mph so "whippy" shaft problems should not occur. It did with the Ignite making me very close to throwing it into the water hazard.

I have tried the top 3 drivers in the 2004 Golf Digest Test where the Ignite won. I've owned the 2nd place ERC and 3rd place Deep Red MAXX. Both were dead straight everytime and I just was searching for a touch more distance so i got the Ignite, which was the winner. What a horrible mistake that was as 3 out of 10 shots were straight. It was maybe 5 yards longer than the other drivers only if you hit it right on.

I'm not a long ball hitter but everyone compliments me on how straight i hit my drivers and irons. The sound is certainly different as well. With a large club head, i think sound is important as you can quickly identify a miss hit and adjust yoru swing on the range to figure out the club. The thing sounds very muted.

My lesson with the Nike experiment? Nike is the king of marketing and I got suckered with the hype.

Ive had trouble with my distance and a slice and I thought that is was my swing. After I bought this club I virtually erased my slice and am hitting the ball forty to fifty yards farther. I strongly reccomend this club.
