Nike SasQuatch Sumo 460 Drivers

Nike SasQuatch Sumo 460 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Having won the Golf Digest Editor's Choice for drivers in 2006, it was no doubt a challenge to improve on the original all titanium SasQuatch driver. What made the original great, makes the new SasQuatch Sumo even better - a new NIKE PowerBow geometry results in a higher MOI of 4950g cm2 vs. 4650g cm2. Therefore, SasQuatch Sumo delivers even more distance and forgiveness.

I have had two of these drivers. A 9.5 and an 8.5. This is the best club I have ever hit. I demoed everything from a tour burner tp to the cobra lv4 and the nike is the longest, straightest, most forgiving club I have ever hit. I highly suggest buying it if you want to hit it long and straight.

I have been playing golf consistently for about 5 months. I could not understand why I could not hit it past 225 with a driver and as consider myself an athelete. I bought this driver on ebay for 80$ and could not have been happier. I am now hitting the ball 25-275 consistently with no slice. I would like to think that I am just getting better but since the first time I hit this club it was a beautiful shot. I love the sound off of the club as well. I would definitely recommend this club to any beginner like me.

I've been reading and looking over all kinds of drivers for awhile now. I've been to Golf Galaxy so many times just to try out clubs i can't even count them. I finally pulled the trigger and got this one used. Best purchase i've ever done. Hit it 250+ consistanly and with very like fade in the flight. Sound is really nice. You know i'm there. Eye appeal is good, nothing out of the ordinary. I can't wait to try some of Nike's hybrids!! If you're a beginner and want to really feel a good golf swing, try this one out as soon as possible!

Easy to hit. Can work the ball with this driver. I'm a lefty. I got the Nike Damiana shaft Reg flex. 10.5 degree loft. Compared to my 2007 Cleveland Hi-Vore XL driver: Nike Driver is a few grams heavier. Nike is maybe a few yards longer. Nike is less forgiving on mis-hits, pushs & pulls go further off line than the Cleveland. Ball strike "Crack" noise is sharper & louder. Nike is better looking than the Cleveland at address.

Customer Service

What service? I bought it on E-bay brand spanking new for $80.

SHOE COMPANY STEP UP!! I didn't want to like this driver. I saw Michael Moore's movie "The Big One". I hate Nike... On the other hand, the two-tone head atually does make the club look less immense and it HAMMERS the ball. I have the V2 [a fantastic shaft but an entire flex stronger than industry standard...] in regular and I am very pleased. No real difference between the 4950 and 5000 MOI models. Get the right shaft and let it rip.

i purchased this driver nearly a year ago for 160 off ebay brand new... lucky deal at the time. I love everything about this driver except for the sound. I know its authentic because i contacted Nike and they confirmed the authenticity. This driver took me a little bit of time to get used to due to the change in weight/ratio compared to my last driver but can be easily figured out. I dont regret my purchase.

I have an extremely high swing speed of 123.76 according to my local pro shop launch monitor. This is by far the best driver I have ever hit. I usually hit the ball about 290-300 yds. off the tee, but with this driver I'm hitting it 320 all day. Just dont catch it on the toe or you will have to hit another ball. Great driver. Highly recommended.

This club is devastating to the fairways, I could draw my drives at will. I am impressed with the accuracy of this bomber. I have added 30 yards + to my drives, miss hits are hard to find. I love that when you hit this club in the screws, it sounds like a cannon going off. Have fun with this monster!!!!

I have a nike sq sumo 460. It's the best club I've ever hit. It just rokets of of the face. The vs proto hammers the ball. I'm only 11 years old and I hit the sq 180 plus. The draw seting makes the ball go even futher. This club is a best.

Model Reviewed: Nike SQ Sumo 9.5 Deg Reg Flex Stock Diamana Shaft

As my name suggests, I'm a hooker in golf sense.

Past: Even after moving the weights in my TM R7 460 & TM R7 SuperQuad to the toe to promote a left to right shot shape, I still need to aim right of fairway to bring the ball in play. Hitting the driver seemed to be 'like a box of chocolates'... know wat I mean?

Present: I was never a believer that Nike is a club maker, till I tried the SQ Sumo at a recent golf carnival at the urging of a fren. Shot after shot, I hit it dead straight. I tried every driver available in other booths, you name it, TM Tour Burner, Mizunos, etc. Nothing comes close to the consistency and straightness of this club.

I took it to course to verify, and true enough, driving the ball with this big dog has now restored my confidence with my tee shot these days. I have rediscovere that driving is fun again. Simply awesome

For you blokes who tee off with a 3 wood all your lives... do yourself a favour, give Nike and yourself a chance, try out these Sumo series driver. Now the 2007 models can be purchased on the cheap. Try them out, you got nothing to lose! Go with an open mind and you will rediscover your love for hitting the driver that only somehow wanna go straight. I don't hook anymore! I swing to a balanced finish position. Just do it!

Note: as with all drivers, it is important to match your swing to the right shaft. The SQ Sumo club head with its high MOI somehow helps to square the club face readily. That is a big plus.
