Nike SasQuatch Tour 460 Drivers

Nike SasQuatch Tour 460 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

The SasQuatch Tour 460 has a taller face height with less breadth than the SasQuatch 460. This unique profile delivers a more boring trajectory and the increased workability desires by better players.

Model Reviewed: Sasquatch Tour 460 w/ Aldila NV 65 Stiff Shaft

Well I purchases the Sasquatch Tour 460 new with a NV 65 stiff shaft after being fitted and hitting several drivers on the launch monitor. I really liked the feel of this driver and although its not as forgiving as the standard Sasquatch or Sumo its is still a great driver especially for the lower hanicapper who likes to be able to slightly work a driver. This driver feels great and is fairly long off the tee. If you a are a player and want a traditional looking driver without the gimicks (TM R7 as an example)this is a great driver.

I've had a Taylormade R7 for about a year and found it very hard for me to control but I was given the Nike SQ because the person said they hated it and not to bring it back. However, I believe otherwise this is the most consistent & forgiving driver I've ever hit...I would definitely recommend this driver

I am currently a college golfer competing at the NCAA Division 1 level. Not ever have I tried a shaft and head combination as inaccurate and inconsistent as the Sasquatch Tour head and Diamana 83 x-stiff shaft. I do not recommend for any golfer of any level whatsoever.

Model Reviewed: Nike SQ Tour 8.5

First off, the Nike SQ Tour driver is for players only, not reckies (recreational). Second, like with ALL clubs in your bag, get custom fitted. You have no business playing this game without being fitted. This driver is very forgiving because it has a deeper face. It also looks beautiful at address for a player that prefers a pear shaped head and a dark/dull color. It is very long off the tee and with the right shaft/clubhead combo, will do wonders for you. I've played only Nike and Titleist clubs in my 7 year golf career. Playing a different driver almost each year with the technology. Fortunately, I found my peace with this driver and probably won't switch unless I have to.

In a nutshell, BEAUTIFUL CLUB, LONG YET FORGIVING, NOT FOR RECKIES - FOR "PLAYERS" ONLY, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - GET CUSTOM FITTED BY A PGA PROFESSIONAL.

Model Reviewed: Nike SQ 460 Tour 8.5* w/ Diamana 83 X

Was playing a 9.5* Titleist 905T w/ grafalloy blue S shaft. I love it but found it hard to control, specially when going hard after it. The trajectory was always very high too. Bought this Nike SQ 460 Tour 8.5 with a Diamana Blue Board 83 gram x-stiff shaft, the first non-titleist product i purchased in years. Love it, crush the ball, can work it any which way, and feel much more under control. The heavier shaft feels great matched with the head. Really dislike the yellow tones on the club and on the headcover, however they do not affect the playability of the club. Really recomend this club specially for the low handicaper. Pay the extra money for the real Diamana Blue Board and you will feel the difference. In terms of stiffness if you swing below the 115-120 mph range go with the stiff, otherwise the X is amazing. Very stable, long, and relatively forgiving.

I just have to comment on all these mid to high handicappers who say they average 280 yard drives. That their fade/power slices find the middle of the fairway. To hit the ball that far you have to have a swing speed of about 110-115 mph and hit the ball in the center of the clubface. You can't slice the ball 280 yards unless you are Tiger Woods. Mid to high handicappers do not have the fundamentals or skills to consistently find the middle of the clubface. They certainly don't have clubhead speeds anywhere close to 110mph. And if they do it's because they have swung out of their shoes, finished on their back foot ...and that's only after they have taken 3 steps backwards. Why do you think it takes 4-5 hours to play a round of golf. It's because you have these jokers who have hit their power fade/slices 30 yards into the woods.
Please save your money and take some lessons...a whole bunch of lessons.
The Sasquatch is a decent driver. To get good results from this or any other driver you have to have sound fundamentals and technique and you have to find the middle of the clubface.
