I love this stick the longest and most forgiving I have played. At 6'4" 210 my swing speed is 110 plus so speed wasn't my problem but control was. This club gives me massive distance and super control In the last 3 rounds I have missed 6 fairways and my scores have been 71,72,72. It's alot easier tolay this game in the short grass. On a 546 yd par 5 I hit this 365 yards and hit a 7 iron on in 2 and got the eagle. I like this club so much I am buying a second for my other set. Great stick.

Ten times better than my old driver (Mizuno Blue rage) Now the hype about unsliceable is false. But It takes a drastic slice and turns it into a slight fade. But if you done have a proper swing dont think you can slice this thing. Trajectory is fantastic and distance doesnt hurt either. Overall though a wonderful driver.

This club has drastically improved what was a very poor game off the tee. I was trouble with double cross hooks with my Titleist drivers. After half a season I don't rcall one hook with this club. Set up for a fade and bang away. I bought 11.5 with regular shaft and sacrificed some distance, but the consistent 230 in the fairway is something i couldn't be more pleased with. i bought a 2nd one to have for a back up...a wonderful club for me...my 20 year old son is hitting the crap out of the Titleist drivers I gave to him.

Customer Service

I bought at Dick's....not much knowledge there but good servive.

Little to say for a great driver, 10% more distance, more roads and better results. I recommend its purchase to all kinds of handicaps.

I couldn't be happier with this driver. Three words sum up driving with this club...long, straight and loud. While I still have a slice when the ball is too far back in my stance (my most frequent problem), the degree of slice is far less than any other club I've tried. My fairway percentage doubled overnight. At $150 new, this is certainly my best investment to date.

Customer Service

I purchased this club from Dick's Sporting Goods. Customer service consisted of a nice guy who really didn't know anything about golf.

It's a nice one. But it's not truth theat you could not hit slice with it. But honestly, I have to admit that with its great forgivness I improved my drives. Since i've used it, I hit slices under 30% of shots.

Well i've been playing almost a year, having purchased a titleist D2 driver (without really knowing what i was getting...it was on sale) i became frustrated with hitting bad drives and keeping my scores around 90. my driving had suffered for me my buying a club with a level of workability i just wasn't ready for in a driver. So after looking about i decided on a sumo 2 sq5900 9.5 stiff v2 shaft (£95 to the door).

I must admit on my first trip to the range it felt, looked and sounded strange infact at the range it really hurt my ears! (outside though it's grand). After adjusting my swing from the bast@rdised version that it had become i banged away straight and true untill my hands were sore and i was knackered what a feeling! i can even shape a nice (controlled) fade.

I took it out on my clubs nine hole and made the greens on 2 short par 4's something i only did with the help of a good wind b4. I love this driver!!! even on a tight fairway i don't even think twice.

oh feel i need to mention 1 bad point.... the bloody head cover is fugly i mean who at nike though it looked good wants there head read! i mean if they lined up all the nike designers and asked me to pick someone to kick in the nuts you'd go for the bloke in the shell suit every time confident "you got your man".

but still buy one.

I just purchased this driver 3 days ago on clearance from Golftown for $110 cdn and wow, "what an amazing driver" I've visited the range 3 times and I have yet to hit a bad shot. It has all been pretty straight and about 240-250 yards and when I miss it is just a nice fade but would still be on the fairway. The big test will be when I use it on the course this weekend. I can't wait. I told my brother about it and he tested it and loves it. He states, "this driver is sick!" He's willing to trade his Taylor Made R7 for this Nike Sumo.

I've just been getting into golf again the last couple summers. I had golden bear clubs and leftover golf knowledge my dad taught me when I was a child. I could not hit my driver for the life of me so I did two things. I started watching golf instructional videos and bought this driver.

First time I took it to the range I was amazed. I was hitting longer, straighter drives consistently. When people say "it is impossible to slice" that simply isn't true. You still have to swing properly but I must say it is VERY forgiving (might want to mention I got an 11.5* to help straighten my shots. Also had aftermarket regular flex shaft and golf pride grip. I bought it as a used demo club of ebay for $85 when they were going for $200 in the local golf stores).

First time I took it out on the course I played 9 holes and if I remember correctly, I hit all but one fairway on the par 4&5's. I've played quite a few rounds since and it all depends on how I'm am driving that particular day but in general I am driving far better than I used to, even on bad shots.

I used to hit high 50's to 60's per 9 holes but since playing more and getting this driver I've been able to hit below 50 a few times. Obviously, I'm not a great golfer with those numbers so take what you will from this review but in my experience it is a great club.

Also, don't even think about complaining about noise from these titanium face clubs. They are not too loud they just sound different. When you CRACK!!! one straight down the fairway it makes you feel like a man. When you whine about it you are probably just an OLD man.

OMG, what a club. Has the most unique sound ever. You can hear other players hitting with one several holes away. I like having that distinct sounds. Plus, it hits amazingly great. I was using a custom Golfsmith Black Box driver. This Nike gave me 20+ years of carry and amazing control/forgiveness. Even off the heal I carry 230+ down the middle with a little fade. Hard to draw but well worth the $200 with the great FREE 3 wood, which is an amazing club itself. You need one of these in your bag!!
