The ball feels a little oily when it comes out of the box. I guess it just reduces the friction between the ball and the club, making the ball spin less than it should have. The only bad thing about this coating is that it wears off. After half a round its almost gone. Overall, truck brake service

I have been playing golf for 10 years and this is the best driver I have played. have the 10.5 degree and I am very impressed with the repeatability of good shots. I have hit the newer Covert but didn't get the same effect. I have hit this driver on average of about 280 yards, with the longer drives about 315, and the shorter ones into the wind at about 250. The real clincher is that it is so accurate, the most forgiving I have played.

hello fellow golfer's, i have been golfing for about 20+ years now and have gone thru so many driver's.
This is the best driver i have ever hit(after being fitted)... excellent distance, beautiful control and... lite as a feather.
I have alway's believed thru the years that heavy clubs give you more distance however... it wasn't very hard to make a switch now golf is fun again, i don't hit the ball 290-300 yrs anymore(older now) but it sure is fun when i'm making par and the young guns are making bogies because of trying to swing out of their shortz.
this driver is str8, i can work the ball, oh the young guns tell me to "keep up o'l man" but... i'm in the hole before they are... excellent club NIKE my 9.5 works just fine... thanks.
