I am a 13 year old golfer and I just recently purchased the Orlimar Hip steel off Eay. Wow, I could hit it 240 w/ it and dead straight. But after about two weeks, the face caved in. This would have been the best driver I have tried if the face hadn't caved in. Do not by this if you have a high swing speed.

Emailed the seller from ebay, hopefully will get a refund.

I originally bought this club last year, I had it for about 2 weeks and was at the range and the face caved in. I took it to the place where I bought and they sent it back to Orlimar for a replacement with no problems. Got the club back and had it for about 2 weeks and let my brother hit while playing and same thing happened, except this time it cracked almost in half. Took it back to the place where purchased and replaced it for a nike forged driver, although I would rather have the Orlimar as it is the longest driver I have ever hit with forgiveness. I just didn't feel like replacing the club every few weeks. In its defense it is the best performing driver I have ever used.

Customer Service

Took about 2 weeks for the replacement club.

I picked this up on Ebay for $50 and figured what have I got to lose. I was already happy with my Wilson Deep Red Fatshaft but couldn't pass up a deal. I was shocked when the Orlimar was longer, straighter, and more forgiving than any driver I've previously owned. This must be the best kept secret in golf. The shaft on this club is perfect for me. If I want to hit a fade or draw its no problem. Its normal flight path is straight down the middle with good height for a 9* but not too high. I like it so much I'm looking at getting a 3 wood.

Walked into Fry's yesterday and saw the driver on sale for 78.00--Have played one round and am impressed. Hit all but one drive solid and noticeably longer than my maraging Tri-metal. One bad drive was thin and on heel, and did'nt slice off that much. The Fujikara shaft seems very solid. Forgiving club, think I'll keep it. For 78.00USD, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Typical good Orlimar quality.

VERY VERY good club. But quality is...lacking. After a few hits on the range, the face caved in. Got it replaced, then the copper weighting came off, but that is fixed now. VERY long club. just recently hit my longest drive ever. 260 yards into the wind. I only swing in the 80-90 mph range too.

Customer Service

Good, very quick with replacements

man this club was not performing very well fo the first couple of rounds I played, but after tinkering with it for 15 min on the driving range, i got it down and damn does it fly. I produce i slight draw wich is very smooth and since i is 8 degrees it gets great roll.

Excellent club. Good control with regular flex steel shaft. Equal or better distance than almost any driver I have tried.

It took me about 2 rounds to get comfortable with this club, but after that look out. I used to use the old style Wilson Killer Whale with the titanium black face. This club (9*) is so forgiving it's unreal. It's easy to tell where you hit the ball on the club face. Even on mis-hits the club is SOOO forgiving. I scored an eagle about 6 weeks ago by driving a par 4 324yd hole (Maxfli Noodle ball.) Give this club a couple of rounds and it will never leave your bag again.

Customer Service

Never had to use.

Wow, what an easy hitting club! Good shaft, good grip, nice club head, another Orlimar wonder. But after two hits from a guy who swings a 5 iron about 83 mph and a driver for about 108 mph - what did he do to the inside of the club head? Just two solid hits caused something to begin rattling within the club head. I'm going to see about getting it replaced. But in the meantime - wow, can this thing clock a ball! My old titanium Cobra drivers are a blast and terrific but heck, I had to try out Orlimar's latest driver.... The Orlimar does hit LONG, Is quite forgiving, and very easy to get used to. There is almost no need to jump all over the ball with this club - it connect and it takes off! I just wished it did not rattle after two hits! What's going to happen next?

Customer Service

Not quite sure yet. I've emailed both dallasgolf.com and Orlimar's site. I'll add to this later.
