What can i say about this club that hasn't already been said? It's simply awesome!!! I had a Big Bertha replica before i swallowed hard and spent some serious money on this club but it has been sooooo worth it. A huge sweet spot, it glides through the air effortlessly with a good heavy head and when you connect with it...wowee, you know you got it good. I'm easily knocking it past my beloved Big Bertha by about 20 or 30 yards every time and my score is the proof. Third game this year and i was 38 for 9 holes, the first i have ever been sub 40 in my life!!! Love this club. BUY ONE NOW!!!!!

Model Reviewed: Ping G10 driver 10.5 V2 high launch

The G10 rocks! Long and easy to hit.
I know people hammer this point home, but get fitted on a launch monitor. There is no way I would have ever got a 10.5 with a high launch shaft. My swing speed avg is 110 and my ball speed is in the mid-high 160s. I was giving up so many yards hitting a 9 degree.
If you JUST look at the charts than a 9 should have been plenty of loft, but for my swing the 10.5 gives me the most distance. Don't get me wrong. I was not hitting low screamers with the 9. It looked high enough to me, but it was a couple degrees low going through the window. Love this driver!

I am a fairly sound golfer who has in the past tried a variety of drivers from Taylormade to Mizuno to Cleveland. I have never even considered Ping as a driver I would be interested in (Reason - I do not like there irons)
Up until recently I was using a Mizuno MP500 9 deg. It was very accurate but lacked the distance. I was at my local golf range were they had a golf buffet day (All you can hit).
It was then I tried the G10 and I was extremely surprised. The sound is just the way a driver should sound - sweet & solid. Accuracy - Lethal. Distance - Holy Sh*t, this thing was huge. My previous ave was 255 mtrs now 270 mtrs.

Now I am a believer.

Congrates Ping this is a diamond.

Never thought I would find a driver that would replace my 983K/YS-6 combo, but the G10/TFC129D is firmly in the bag.

Long and straight off the tee with a nice solid feel/sound at impact. It has a traditional shape, which seems to hide the large head volume (460cc) quite well.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I like to try or buy everything. I get the goods off Ebay for a great price, if I don't keep it I can usually turn a profit locally. The G10 with stock 129D shaft is one of the best drivers I have ever hit. Great balance, great swingweight, nice sound and plenty long. Easy to control, workable within limits and did I mention, plenty long?

Any hack that would rate this driver a one or two has got either a fake or needs to take up lawn bowling. I think a lot of kids are doing quick reviews or just playing games here. Well, with any luck they will get run over by a beer truck soon.

There is nothing wrong with the stock shaft. One might like to have a different shaft for different ball flight or feel, but the stock shaft is a very good one, especially compared to the old days when almost any stock shaft sucked.

If you are having less than satisfactory results off the tee, this is a driver you need to at least try out.

Customer Service

The best.

Darn near everything. I was using a $30 mac Burrows 400 with a V2 shaft, but the Ping is just more consistent.

This club is a fairway splitter. I don't really know how to work a ball with a driver, or with any club for that matter. I pretty much want to hit the ball straight down the fairway and put me in range to attack the green with a short iron and this is exactly what the G10 does for me. I average 240 meters with ProV1 balls and even with shots off the heel or toe, the ball goes straight, though not as far, but on the fairway. Having this distance now helps me relax and swing smoothly rather than trying to kill the ball to gain distance. My game has improved substantially!
Sad as it is, the only way to get the score down is with a long driver because the courses are all getting longer. Gotta limit the types of clubs the young kids can buy these days, maybe only persimmon drivers.
A big plus is the great sound it makes when hitting the ball!!! Ever heard a Nike SQ strike a ball??? I would dump that club in the nearest lake!

Customer Service

Ping has the best tech support of all! The technician is not scared to give advice, unlike the guys I spoke to at Cobra, Mizuno and Wilson.

Fantastic and amazing performance! I used to shoot in the high 90s-low 100s due to inconsistant driving. Now, I miss fairway 2~3/10. Draw bias prevents from slicing. Hitting fairway with Ping G10 driver makes life easier!
