I wasn't very impressed with the Ping Si3. I never been a great off the tee box, but this club gave average distance at best and at times seemed difficult to get up in the air. It looks nice and the feel is pretty nice. The accuracy it provides is decent and the price is decent which is why I've given it a three. But over a course of one year I played this club and did not get the distance and consistency I hoped for.

Model Reviewed: Ping Si3 340cc DEMO

Dissapointed. I got this driver from a friend who got it at a local pro shop. It was a demo. I was getting tired of my old Cobra 380 ss, so I traded with my friend. On good hits, the ball traveled average distance and had an OK feel. On off-center hits, however, this club hit very short and felt very weak. It would be wise to go with a Taylormade r580 or Cobra 380ss for not very much more money.

Model Reviewed: PING Si3 340 7degree red dot

The PING Si3 is a superb weapon. Have played with everything from King Cobra to Mizuno to Taylor Made and recently purchased the Titleist 983E which I tried for a month. Whereas the Titleist is probably 5 yards longer than the Ping I find that my natural draw was replaced has been replaced by high fades or pushes right on the Titleist. In comparison the PING allows me to draw and fade at will (lighter club?)and reach an average 270 yards at sea level. I firmly endorse this club, it has given me the confidence that lifts my entire game. It all boils donw to finding a club suitable for your swing speed and game. In addition, since the launch of the G2 you can buy these used for around $100 on the web vs. $180 for the Titleist. Three thumbs up!

Model Reviewed: Ping Si3 340cc 9* stiff

The Ping is decent to say the most. It feels good and it looks really cool. The only problem is that it really lacks in control and distance. I had an old Adams ST driver and could hit that farther than the Ping on a well hit shot. It's just too unpredictable. I like a club that is dependable. I switched to the Nike Ignite and have had amazing results.
