I am the owner of coloradogolfgreeen.com and always thought the answer to better golf was the short game, until the new ping ti si went into my golf bag. This club is absolutely the best golf product I have ever purchased. It has added at least 40-70 yards to my drives, and they are in the fairway. Go get fitted properly and hit the club several times. I used to have a Taylor Ti Burner and have tried almost everything. Nothing compares to this club.Mis-hits go furhter than most other clubs. Please do yourself a favor and try it. Look at how much you have spent on golf to better your score. This club at $360.00 is peanuts. IT WILL NEVER LEAVE MY BAG!

This club added 30-40 yards EASY to my drives without any sacrifice in accuracy. I replaced my Warbird steelshaft with this baby and am in love. If you get fitted correctly, you will never regret paying the big bucks for this club. Everything good that you've read is true. I was concerned that the 10 degree might hit the ball too high, but for my swing it does not. The feel of the ball coming off the club face is amazing...so explosive without additional effort. Give it a try and you will be in love, but make sure you have the right hosel/shaft/loft configuration or you may get disappointing results. The feel, IMHO, far surpasses that of the Titleist.

Customer Service

1 week turnaround for custom driver is not too bad.

OK, Ive already reviewed this driver, so consider this an update. I have been incredibly pleased with the performance but if I had to make a complaint, it was with the shaft. The stock Aldila in my opinion, did not offer enough feel, and I felt it promoted a rather high ball flight. I went to a shop and inquired about about shaft options, and noticed that of the 20 or so Ping drivers they stocked, only 2 of them had the stock shafts on them. Hmmmmm, could this be for a reason??? I noticed that the shaft most prominant was the UST Proforce 65. Also, these clubs were done at the Ping WRX custom division, so this is a factory job. I hit a few different shafts and settled on the UST in a stiff flex. The shaft is lighter than stock and is stiffer in the tip, to help promote a lower trajectory. The kick point is also on the high side, that also aids in the ideal ball flight. It took about 10 days to get my club back from Ping, and the whole deal cost me around $90. That included the shaft, grip, shipping and labor. Not bad at all I must say. Sure enough the very next week, I watch Jim Furyk win a tournament with the exact same shaft, so my choice seemed to be validated.
Off to the range I went, and my hopes and prayers were answered. This shaft makes an already incredible club that much better. I now hit the ball on what I feel is the ideal trajectory. Not too low, but not too high either. I also have better feel, and believe it or not, actually hit the ball FARTHER!! SO....Im telling you to this: If you are planning on buying this club, look into the different shaft options, but if you already own one, seriously consider making the switch to the UST Proforce 65. The only possible negative is that the shaft is mostly a goldish yellow color, with some purple accents. But you could have painted it pink for all I care, the results are what counts.

Customer Service

Ping and the WRX division are top notch.

If you are looking for more fairways and unbelievable distance on hits "not quite dead center", this is the driver! When you hit it well, it's as long as anything I have ever hit.

The ping driver is a wonderful club. I haven't had any problems with it until last week. Where the club face a body of the club are welded together it cracked(on the bottom of the club). Has anyone else had this problem? Ping is taking care of the problem at no cost to me. They are a great company and have a wonderful customer service department.

Customer Service

The staff at Ping was very helpful and willing to send me another driver to replace the one that cracked.

Unbelievable control. Off center hits are never worse then 1st cut. Probably not as long as the 975 when hit of the sweetspot, but very close. I tee the ball lower then I did with the 975, otherwise it tends to land a bit soft. If you play better from the fairway then buy this club!

Ping Wrx turned it around in 4 days.

I use to own a hawkeye, but not any more, there is without a doubt, NO COMPARISON!! I'm not trying to knock callaway, because i've hit a callaway for about 3 years now. But the Ping tisi is much longer and 10 times more accurate. This is the BEST driver on the market. They may not be the most attractive driver out there but ask yourself if you want a nice looking driver or nice looking drives.

I hit the ball a long way in the air, with a draw, but it stops quickly. It also has a tendency to hit pop-ups when hit above the center of the clubface. I traded it for a 975D, and it feels better, has a lower boring trajectory, and goes about 20 yards longer, with lots of roll. The 975D has the Grafalloy shaft, which probably helps a lot over the standard Ping Stiff 350 series.

Wow! What a driver? I had been playing a 975D 6.5 w/ a Grafalloy shaft and never thought I would switch untill the day I hit this driver. I thought the feel was great and thought that the proforce 65 felt great in it. I ddin't ballon at all, but I did with the 8.5 stock shafted. So If you swing 110+ I would really recomend the proforce shaft. Without a doubt the best driver on the market. Try lower loft than you usually play.
