This Titanuam driver by Ping, has to be the longest straightest driver I have ever hit. It looks real big, but once you get over the look and hit it, you just can't go wrong. Similar Products Used: None |

I've just started playing and we have these drivers at my club. I like the confidence it gives on the tee box. You feel like you can't miss. Good hits feel great! Similar Products Used: None |

PING Ti SI 10 degree
I just purchased the club - 10 degree, +2 degrees upright, with a draw hozzle. The club is the most forgiving, yet accurate club on the market. For a mid teens to 25 handicapper it's a great club. The custom options available definitely enhance the performance. I used to be a consistent fader off the tee but with the draw hozzle, I'm just about dead center with a slight draw. Customer Service All of my Ping customer service experience has been great. I've had 2 iron sets re-fitted along with the custom driver I just purchased. Although this club is quite long in size, it is a little easier to control the trajectory of the ball than some of the other ""Big"" headed drivers. Good distance off the tee but hard to hit off the fairway. I really think this driver is one of the easiest clubs to hit far. This Club has the biggest sweetspot in golf, It is the longest hitting to all you need to do is have a nice smooth swing and hit the ball with the club and it goes a mile, the sweetspot is over twice the size of my old Titleist 975D. I have the stock Aldila 350 series shaft. Good for a stock shaft. This club goes straight or slight fade for a ball flight I have the straight hosel on it too. This will be a great addition to my bag. Also check my review on the Titleist 990s. Also great clubs. Ping is a good club; give it a little bit of time though because the longer you use it the longer it goes and also the straighter it goes. HUGE HUGE Head,BIGGEST SWEET SPOT in the business. Close your eyes, swing easy and hit it a mile. A little too much torque on the factory shaft when hit off the toe, recommend going with an aftermarket shaft, grafalloy or harrison. But if your looking for a no brainer this is the club. I was at the Canadian Open and saw many of the players using the TiSi. I tried one at the practice range and went out the next day to buy one for myself. I have tried 6 other drivers during the past four years and this is by far the best one ever. A smooth, easy swing sends the ball long and straight every time. The first day I played with it I hit 3 - 300 yard drives and one faded off the fairway due to my own lack of consistency. If you're looking for a perfect name brand driver, this is the one! Ping TiSI Driver-8.5*--X-Stiff
WOW! That about sums it up! I decided a few weeks back that it was time to move up to a new driver. I wasn't terribly dissapointed with my current stick (Great Big Bertha), but I didnt like the way it set up at address, and the shaft pretty much sucked. SO I set out to find the best driver available. I was willing to pay top dollar, so I wanted to be sure that I was buying the best driver on the market. I hit the Hawkeye....not bad, but it was not a huge improvement over my GBB. I hit the Titleist 975D...Yikes! Was that thing unforgiving. It felt like I was swinging a 2 by 4. Granted, when I hit it pure, it was nice, but you better hit it pure. And be sure to buy a higher lofted club than you are used to because this baby flies low. I looked at many others...too many to mention...basically I did my homework. But when I hit the Ping, I knew it was the one for me. Get over the size, you WILL get used to it. This club sends the ball at a perfect trajectory, and is quite forgiving. Oh yeah, its LONG! Real long!!! And, I love the sound it makes...a solid ""Ping!"". So look no further if you are in the market for a new driver, because if you can afford it, you will be hard pressed to find a sweeter stick. This is the best driver you could find out there. It is lethal, border line illegal, compared with other drivers in the market. It has the biggest sweetspot, the biggest club head, and the longest driving distance. It is a great driver for everone. Next time you go to the pro shop dont waste your time checking out other drivers, go and buy the ping if you willing to pay the $400. You wont regret buying it. I purchased my 8.5 degree-stiff-RUS from an individual who works at Ping. If I had to pay $300-400 I would not have given this club 5 value points. It took me approximately three buckets of range balls to find the correct address and swing. Once I worked through my frustration I firmly believe this is the best driver on the market. My evidence: two 325+ yard drives during yesterday's round. Customer Service Less than desirable. Ping needs to analyze their service and phone system. I was hung-up on three times before I finally got a rep who actually helped. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Burner |
