Ping TiSI Tec Drivers

Ping TiSI Tec Drivers

DESCRIPTION

The TiSI Tec features a patented variable-thickness face which optimizes performance by positioning more mass in the impact area to enhance energy transfer to the golf ball. This patented design feature optimizes spin and lift for hotter trajectory. The TiSI Tec''''s nearly parallel top and soleplate creates a structurally rigid clubhead that resists deformation at impact and transfers more energy to the golf ball.

Good solid driver. High, straight ball flight but far from the longest driver on the market. Some sacrifice in length is acceptable when you are always finding your ball in the middle of the fairway. Don't try and work the ball with this driver, it just doesn't work this way

The Ping TiSi Tec Driver is not the longest driver I have owned but I find it to be very forgiving on mis-hits. My "fairways hit" stats have improved considerably since I added the TiSi Tec driver to my bag. One added feature for this Ping model is that I find it fairly easy to hit off the fairway when I need a long and low running shot.

Incredible distance and control. Looked at a variety of drivers over the past 24-months. No question the club is the easiest and longest I've hit. My swing speed is average (85-92), but this club gets it out there 250+. I havn't hit a ball like this since high school. Golf is a blast again. Breaking 80 does that to a middle aged hacker. Highly recommend

I tried several different models and this is the one for me. Easy to swing, Doesn't feel like it's size(323cc), the regular Ping 350 shaft is light, not whippy, always know where the clubhead is. Ball flight is high but boring, does not balloon in the wind. Resounding "Ping" when stuck! Offcenter hits still maintain distance(15 more yds than my old one)! Gorgeous light blue metallic color!

Customer Service

I was fitted by a Ping Rep and he treated me as I was a Pro; Ping fitting program is the Best!

This is the best driver i have ever hit. Here´s why: It is very well balanced and swings easy for me, I feel the head while Í´m swinging. Setup is a snap due to the straight topline, somehow those Ping clubs are all easy to square up at address. The shaft (Ping 350 regular) is lively, but not whippy, it fits my medium speed swing (92 mph) very well, I can hit long drives without going after it too much. The trajectory is medium, which I like since I am a high ball hitter. The sweetspot is huge, fault correction is excellent, but I still feel where I hit it, and dead-center shots take off like rockets. I still can´t hit the ball 300 yards like many other guys who shoot in the 80´s and 90´s (get serious guys!!), but I do get 10 more yards compared to my old driver and I find the fairway almost every time, this driver is really easy to hit!! Get fit and buy one as long as they are making it, I have played it for six months now and never even considered trying something else.

I was looking for a moderate-large size titanium club head. I went down to the store and demoed all of the high end drivers, and found that the TiSI Tec was by far the easiest to hit and the longest. I went on eBay and picked on up for a really good price. I especially like the club head shape. The noise is also great ;-) The club is head is also VERY light. This is a great driver.

After reading reviews and demos what seems like hundreds of drivers, purchasing one and then using it for 2 months I am ready to write a review. Well as a 1st year golfer my swing speed was 92 mph but after working with our pro here while on the golf team I have managed to get it to 106. I tried everything, and anything and I really must say this was the ONLY driver I did not like when hittting inside to a net. But on the range after comparing it to Nike, callaway and titleist it is what I found worked best. It is very weird looking but very strait froward. it was very Suare at line up. My driving with other drivers was about 225-235 with a normal ball, such as a maxfli. With the ping tisi tec i get about 240-250 just becuase of the face the sweet spot is very large. But I must warn you it does not have much "feel" it is a real square feeling when you hit it sweet. Nothing like the titleist which is silky smooth. But here is a tip if you are planning on buying this driver, and you can afford it use the Titleist PRO V1 X. I get about 10 more yards of roll just by hitting the seam. My driving average with the X is 255 with the PROV1 its 243, big difference. All said this is a great driver, although i think i may go to the Si3 its a great club, easy to hit, and somewhat accurate. I love it when its strait, everybodies differnt they just have to find something that works for them but if you can hit this.

Swing speed = approximate distance guys!!! An 89mph swing speed cannot hit 280 yds down the fairway. Usually if ur swing speed is 105+ you will carry 250 yards on the fly. If your swing speed is 89mph, your carry distance is probably 215 yards or so. and i doubt you get 60 yds roll from any driver unless ur swing speed is 120+ with a 6.5 degree or lower loft.
