Played for two years with Callaways BBB but found it too inconsistent and high. First impression when my local pro introduced me to the XXL was that the shaft was humongous and awfull to look at. Similar to the sound of the shaft during the swing which gives a great big woossssshhhh. After hitting it a few times on the range I simply had to buy it. Great distance, low pernetrating flight and, provided you put a reasonable swing on it, also a very forgiving club. Certainly matches the distance of the BBB and absolutely outclasses it on flight. In other words, once you get used to the fat shaft, a great club ! Similar Products Used: Callaway BBB, Ping ISI |

I bought this driver in the middle of May because i believed what they said on TV. Its all true! I am 13 years old and the ball just jumps off the clubface with this driver and the thick KEVLAR* shaft eliminates the slice or hook. I gained over 50 yards in distance (from 160 average to 215 average). The kevlar shaft supposedly eliminates tourqe so you wont ever have a slice or hook again. When you try to work the ball, you really have to come across it because it normally comes right back. The shaft really stiffens on the downswing so a regular flex feels like a stiff. When you buy this club, don't be worried about length, it will come. Customer Service Really helpful !!5 stars!!! Similar Products Used: Wilson POWERFORCE (20 years old) |

I picked up my purespin in May this year in a used bin in Montreal, Canada. It was like new and has the stiff shaft. I hit it well from the start and it gets better all the time. I find I have to work a bit more at getting my hands turned through through the ball but when I don't I still get a straight shot even though it is high and a bit shorter. The sound of the ball coming of the head is the best of any driver I have tried and heard and I love this driver. Similar Products Used: Hawkeye, Orlimar Trimetal, Taylor supersteel |

Very forgiving, crazy length, and a low, penetrating ball flight, similar to the titleist 975d, it just has more accuracy+consistancy. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975d, Taylor Made TI bubble 2 |

I love to hit the ball long off the tee but have always had a slice problem when I really try. The Pure Spin driver nearly eliminated the slice I'm used to. And the ball goes, and goes and goes. I really believe the claim that the club head gets back to square sooner than most other drivers. And that the Kevlar shaft reduces twist from the ball making contact. I bought this club and the first time I saw it I thought it was great. The shaft is really flexible and great for a slow swing. Then I hit the first ball with it and it broke. Something inside kept rattling and it was really annoying. It is very hard to hit straight. Very cheaply made. |

Liked the look of this club, but the performance didn't match it for me. On dead center hits, it matched my BBB for distance, but was less forgiving in every other way. Hit a lot of slices with this club. It just wasn't suited for my swing speed, I think. Similar Products Used: Biggest Big Bertha |

I have used many different clubs in my day. The best i've used thus far was callaway biggest bertha but that all changed when i tried the pure spin XXL Driver. It's accuracy is off the charts and it has increased my drive by 25yards.I have to give the makers of this club a shake of the hand for making such an outstanding club .
