I first found this club at eBay for 152.45, and ended up paying that much! What a deal. Much cheaper than the 269 most online golf stores are charging. Anyways, when I first went to take this club out to the range I was spooked. I've never hit so many drives straighter or further ever in my life before. I counted 8 of the best drives of my life in a row. The sound it makes on contact is crisp and lively (maybe the diamonds, but who really knows...). All I can say is that it was worth the price. The only thing about this club is that if you try swinging too hard it can be a little inconsistent, but isn't that true with any club. Just swing smooth and the results will come with this club easily.

I was intrigued with the infomercials, and needed to get myself a quality driver to help keep my drives in the fairway, in order to reduce my handicap. The first time I used it in a full round of golf, I reduced my handicap by 10 strokes to 90, averaged 10 -20 yards more on my drives, and more importantly, kept it in the fairway about 85% of the time. If you want to reduce your handicap, and keep your drive dispersion to a minimum, I would highly recommend taking a long look at the Purespin XXL! Can't wait till summer rolls around, so I can crush a few more bombs!!!

I picked this driver up after I saw it on sale at the local golf shop. After researching on the Internet,it looked like this club had received favourable reviews, so thought I would give it a try. It took a while to get used to the large shaft, but after swinging it a few times, I found that the swing weight was very comfortable. I don''t like graphite shafts on my woods and normally hit steel shafts, so was quite surprised that the large Kevlar shaft felt more like steel than graphite when I swung the club. The diamond face definitely gives some extra jump to the ball. The biggest thing I like about this club is I find that I can swing slower and more fluid and still hit the ball as far or farther than I used to. The more controlled swing lets me hit the ball straighter. The other nice thing about this club is that it seems to have a lower ball trajectory so my drives roll a lot longer. After several trips to the driving range working on altering my swing mechanics and speed to match the club, I am very happy with the results and would recommend this club to anyone.

This club is awesome-- but you have to... "adjust" to it. Many golfers are turned off by it's odd appearence. It's kinda heavy and the shaft is extremely fat. The first couple times I hit it, I topped it and it went no where. But once I got my hands adjusted, I hit it much better. I absolutely love this driver now.

It gets pretty average distance, but it is MUCH more accurate. It really does reduce hooks and slices...slightly. It's not going to prevent you from slicing, but it will help it. I do not pretend to be a great driver, I drive like a 15 handicap though I play to a five. The driver will not make miracles for you, but it helps.

You really need to try out this club before you buy it. Some people hate it, some love it.

One last note: The second edition model (with the tungsten weight) is VERY different then the first one. The second edition is lighter and plays more like a normal driver.
