Built a 600T Hi Launch (13D) with an Aldila NV R flex. Went from avg 240 yds off tee to around 260! Even won a long drive hole in a recent scramble . . . 266 right down the pipe! If you are afraid of higher lofted drivers, give this a chance. Just make sure you match up with the right shaft and you may be surprised what a 13D driver head will do for you.

I was able to get this club head and a Grafaloy Blue Shaft for about $100, I would have to say this is one of the best deals going!! I use the 11.5 degree, after reading all the benefits of higher lofts, and hit this clud amazingly well. I have the reg. flex shaft (my swing speed is about 95 mph) and usually get about 250-270 yards. The ball flight is quite high and I might be losing a little distance, but the accuracy makes up for it. The best thing I can say about this club is that actually feel comfortable pulling out the driver for the first time in 8 years of Golf!!! I would recommend this head/shaft combo to anyone.

Model Reviewed: Snake Eyes 600T-C 420cc 10.5*

I have been playing a Callaway GBB II 380 8.5* driver with a Harrison Pro 2.5 80 gram shaft. Felt I needed to try something with higher launch so I built a Snake Eyes 600T-C 10.5* 420cc driver with an SST Pured Grafalloy ProLaunch 75 stiff shaft. Cut it to 44.5". Very sweet feeling club. Launch is high but it seems to handle the wind well. I've probably picked up 5 yards over the GBB II but it's all carry yardage which is an advantage in the wet spring and fall conditions in the Northeast. I was accurate with the GBB II and could work the ball both ways so I knew going in that I would really have to like this new driver a lot to make the switch. I do like this driver a lot and can't believe I'm still able to work the ball both ways with a 420cc clubhead. Golfsmith does list this model as highly workable and they aren't lying. The only downside is I'm a bit more likely to hook this driver than I was the GBB II.
