Snake Eyes Fire Forged Compressor 450 Drivers

Snake Eyes Fire Forged Compressor 450 Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Fire Forged Compressor 450 drivers also utilize a plasma welding technique to secure the 10-2-3 beta titanium face to the 6-4 titanium body. The plasma technique yields a much finer welding bead leaving more of the face area to perform as it was designed to.

This driver is aweful. The very thought of it makes me sick to my stomach.

I bought this club for about $150 with a prolaunch blue s65 shaft and felt real good about it for a while. I was able to, with a smooth swing, smack it out there to 280 consistently. Originally, You might take a little heat from your peers for playing the club if they don't know anything about golfsmith, but truly this thing can poke it out there like many premium brand drivers at twice the price. Plays like a Ping G5 with the same shaft and looks the same from the top. The club looks good from all angles. No problem hitting the fairway with some respectable distance with carry. I give this driver a great review. It has a unique sound off the tee. Music to your ears when you pipe one time after time. First played a baby fade way out in the left of the horizon, but was able to work the ball after carrying it in the bag for several rounds. Snake eyes makes quality clubs at nearly no name prices. If you can find one, enjoy......

I purchased this head and assembled it with a Harrison SL50 2.5 shaft. This shaft is as good if not better than anything on the market. I had very high expectations of the club. I must say the 9 degree head hits the ball a long way. That's the good news. Now the bad... This may be the worst sounding and feeling club I have ever assembled. Instead of the "Hot" feeling you get with most oversized Titanium drivers you get a really hard dead feel that frankly just feels weird, and sounds worse. As I said earlier, it is long thanks to the 46" shaft that I put in it, but... No thanks! I cannot recommend this head. There are much better component heads on the market. SMT, Alpha, Ashton, and even Bang are much better.
