A really nice driver with medium-oversized sized 380 cc head. It has an ample sweet spot. It has a clean look and sets up nicely---just like some of the other reviewers have noted. I find the club relatively easy to hit and it goes straight, and long for me (most of the time!) I am hitting fairways more consistantly with this club. The face is hot, and provides and nice loud pop, and good feedback as the ball is struck. P.S.: The stock OEM shaft feels good, but I am wondering if a NV65 or Prolaunch would make this thing even hotter and longer. I may experiment in the future.

I was looking for a driver with a moderately large sized head with a nice square set up. This seemed to fit the bill. It is 380 cm but it looks quite traditional in jet black. I liked the balance of the club. and it seems easy to hit it straight. It pings like a loud metal basball bat in the fast pitch league when you strike it. Good distance, although I have hit clubs than may be slightly longer, but I also pary them over a wider area. This Srixon 302 seems to hit the fairways for me. Like other reviewers, I also like having something different that works so well...and a few buddies who I have let hit a drive or two with this club seem to appreciate it too!

I saw used/demo of this club at a golf store and liked the size, proportions, and way that it set up. This is a 380 cc head....Big enough to "crack it" good, but does not look like a blimp. It looks great in black too. I took it to the range and demo'd it, along with a Cobra 414 and a Titleist 983k. It was neck and neck with the others on distance, but I hit more straight shots with the Srixon. I also liked the set up better than the others...the club lines up perfectly for me. This makes a nice loud ping/pop with a big hit, which was disconcerting at first, but it grew on me. I did some research and found out that Srixon is a big boy in Japan. I went on Ebay and found these new '04 models selling for as low as $150, and I waited for one in a 10.5 loft to appear. I am using stock R shaft with my 92 mph swing. It feels good, but I am thinking that I may go to a ProLauch may give this thing some extra pop, since the standard shaft seem to have a mid/high flex point and flight is medium trajectory even with the 10.5. I like this club. I also like having something that is different than everybody else!

Customer Service

Have not needed it, but not expecting much since these are not widely distributed..

After reading some reviews on this driver, I was able to find one on ebay for $165.00. I was using a Cobra 440sz with 9 degree loft. I liked the Cobra fine but, with the 2.5 degree offset, the effective loft became about 11. Often, it would create a balloon like trajectory and with the wind in Oklahoma that could be very bad. I have had the Taylormade R580 and Cobra 440sz recently. And comparitvely, the Srixon is far and away better. Distance 1) Srixon (I average 280 off tee) 2) R580 2) Cobra 440sz tie with R580 Forgiveness 1) Srixon--mis-hits are still long 2) Cobra 440sz--fairways all day long 3) R580--toe hits are painful Workability 1) Srixon--any trajectory, any time 2) Cobra 440sz--watch for hooks 3) R580--straight, straight, straight Give Srixon a try. You will be amazed! Forgiveness

Customer Service

Customer service is a work in progress at Srixon. There are too many indians and not enough chiefs. Its very difficult to get repair status

Having shopped around and tried most of the decent drivers like gbii , taylor made, cobra. I had made my mind up on the on the xx10 twin sole as it felt great and went long. Well I tried the 302 and love it even better. So much so that i bought one(believe it must be good) It is really straight with great distance and fantastic feedback. I would recommend this to any golfer who wants to get on the fairway.

Tried this driver on a whim as I was currently playing a R580. Love the classic look of this driver as it does not look big and bulky. The stock shaft works very well with this driver. Medium boring trajectory with some good roll. Comparing it to my R580: Forgiveness goes to R580 Distance was very close Straightness goes to W302 Workability goes to W302 Overall the W302 was a much straighter and easier to control driver. It is simply an aim and shoot type of club. If you are looking to add some extra distance to your drive, this may or maynot do it for you. But if you are looking to find more of the short grass, this club is definitely worth it.

This driver is great. I love it. I tried it at a demo day and couldn't believe it. I have played about 6 rounds with it. It goes far and STRAIGHT. I was at a demo day with ALL the brands and I tried them all. This one is still the best. I almost don't want to give it a good review because then others will find out and use it.

Haven never tried Srixon's products until this driver. I got hooked up with the launch monitor and everything and for my specific swing, the Srixon outperformed Titleist 983K, Taylor Made 5's, Mizuno MP-001, Nike Ignite and Clevenland Launcher. Titleist came somewhat close but no cigar. I even stayed with the stock shaft which is awesome - a little heavier and a little stiffer than most stock shafts which suits me perfectly. Get hooked up with a swing monitor - it's the best you can do for your next club buying venture!
