IT'S O.K, NOT AS GOOD AS THE THE PING TiSi OR THE TITLEIST 975d STILL A GOOD DRIVER, BUT NOT WORTH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY IT IS, AND IN THE LONG RUN WON'T KEEP IT'S VALUE ASWELL AS THE PING OR TITLEIST. DON'T BUY THIS CLUB UNTIL YOU'VE TRIED THE ABOVE MENTIONED CLUBS BOTH ARE BETTER QUALITY AND VALUE FOR MONEY THAN THIS LATEST EFFORT FROM TAYLOR MADE WHICH FRANKLY DOESN'T LIVE UP TO EXPECTATIONS. I tried lots of drivers, the club it was replacing was a yonex adx100 graphite driver. This club by far was the most consistant, easy to hit club that i have purchased. You have to swing smooth at it or it can get a little crazy.. but the most important thing is that i got 30 to 50 yards on my drives.. it is not uncommon to hit 340 yard drives with this club. at least that is my experence with it..... WHAT A FANTASTIC DRIVER. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE KEEPING THIS DRIVER STRAIGHT YOU ARE SWINGING IT WAY TO FAST. I USED TO USE A TITLEIST 975D AND YOU HAD TO SWING THIS CLUB VERY HARD TO GET THE RIGHT RESULTS, BUT THE TAYLOR MADE YOU HAVE TO SWING IT NICE AND EASY AND LET THE CLUB DO THE WORK AND BELIEVE ME IT WILL. In the pro shop at a local municipal course today, I was looking very hard at the Taylor Made 300 series drivers that I have heard so many good things about, as I had every day in the last three months since they got these drivers. It turns out that the pro had a few demo clubs, so he let me take the 320 9.5* out to play with. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975D 8.5* w/ Ultralite 65 'S' |

I spent about 90 minutes trying every permutation of the 360 vs. 320, 10.5 vs. 9.5, R-80 vs. S-90 Shaft. I have a frequent modest fade with my current "fade control" Adams SC; there about half the time. I expected the 360 would be the best, since it is draw enhancing. I also thought I would want the 10.5 vs. the 9.5, since other 9 degree drivers I have tried have given me a very low trajectory. I was very surprised to discover that I could hit the 320 straighter AND longer than the supposedly more forgiving 360, regardless of flex or loft. I ended up with a 9.5 loft, S-90 shaft as the clear winner. It was NOT what I was expecting, and NOT what the Taylormade pre-fitting online questionaire had predicted. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE CONSIDERING PLUNKING DOWN THIS KIND OF CASH FOR A CLUB TO TRY THEM OUT ON AN ACTUAL DRIVING RANGE; THERE IS NO WAY TO SEE THE BALL FLIGHT ON AN IN-STORE NET. As my handicap has come down from 17 to 11 I thought it about time to treat myself to a new driver. Had tried the 300 series at a demo day and liked them so I took the plunge and forked out the £330 pounds for the 320 with the s-90 shaft. What a club this is. I can now easily reach the end of the driving range (about 280 yards) with 3 out of 5 shots. As has been said elswhere even off centre hits go well and are no-where near as bad as before. An expensive bit of equipment but if you're serious about improving your long game it's a worthy investment. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Firesole. Callaway GBB. Wilson Fat Shaft Ti |
