I really like this club. I have a swing speed in the mid 90's but when I'm smoooth this baby puts it >250 all day. Took it right out and only missed one fairway (6ft). One drive hit 290!!! Sounds kinda funky but it flies. Don't need to press just an easy, smooth strong swing and I'm in the middle way out there. Similar Products Used: Great big bertha, ping (the big one) |

This is a phenomenal driver. It is THE longest and most forgiving golf club I've ever hit. I reshafted with BiMatrx at 44" and this combo kicks. I agree with those who say a smooth swing is what this club asks for. Definitely not a "bangers" club. But, holy mother, a smooth swing generates rockets. I love the mid-high trajectory - the ball seems to float forever. As someone who tends to struggle with his driver, I'm in heaven. Man, golf is fun when you're hitting wedge from the fairway! I have read the bad reviews and all I can say is that the answer to their problems usually lies in their review. They can't control their swing. I had a 2000 Orlimar driver that I couldn't control until I cut the shaft about 1", then I loved it. I also had a Ping TiSi and hated it. The Taylormade was a straight 300 plus yard hit on the very first swing. The only time I get in trouble is when I try to swing too hard. If you can't control your swing speed, don't get this club. Otherwise you should have great results. Customer Service none Similar Products Used: Ping,Orlimar,Titelist |

I first tried this club indoors hitting into a screen of a golf course...I was impressed at the results over the 360 model(which I hit too high) and made the purchase. On the course, I have had to make a few adjustments. I have to choke up to hit it straight, otherwise I can tail it to the right. I hit it very long, typically, 280+ and quite often 300 yards. When I choke up, and I'm referring to simply having 1/2 inch of the club exposed past my left hand, I can pound it right down the heart. The club is very forgiving, especially for those of us who don't get out to play as often as we would like. I have typically been a consitent hitter from the tee box and find that this club gets the job done. I did like my 975d but I was not consistent enough with that club. When I played often, I could pound that one too but did not have the confidence that I do with the Taylor. My Calloway was easy to hit and though it went straight, it never went far enough for me. LONG, ACCURATE, FORGIVING, CONFIDENCE!!! If you have those on your golf wanted list you need to look no further than the taylor made 300 series. They are all long and forgiving, with the 300 being the easiest to shape, although all can be shaped. This driver just seems to deliver the results that people are looking for. |

To be honest i think that there is not that much competition to this driver. Maybe the ping or titleist, but this driver is really the best fit. It is for players of all handicaps, thats what makes this driver a really awesome one. The distance is maximum and the accuracy and forgiveness are exceptional. This driver is as good as it gets...for now! |
